2022 LX2610 HSD. Can the Loader be set so it only goes down so far - like a 3 point?

Would you have to use cylinder blocks to accomplish that?

What is needed for a front PTO?

I don't think so. But would love to hear why you would want to do this...

Of course, like a 3PH, the loader can only go down so far, due to the mechanical setup.

Edit: Front PTO, not sure. But both my tractors have mid PTOs, with the mid one pointing to the front...

To attach a front deck mower for road ditches. The mmm doesn't seem to be working out. My wife won't pursue returning the machine.
I can't turn to see a rear mount mower. So it's mirrors or front deck.

Something I always thought about on our old JD 400. That one would have been a pretty easy build. It already had a front drive shaft. And an easy way to mount stuff to the front

You can buy shaft collars to put on the rods that limit their travel.

Good day. I am not sure I complete understand your purpose, but I think maybe a front mount mower, is that correct?…I am not sure what your hydraulic capability or weight is but maybe someone makes something you could run. I’ve looked at the place below but never seen one in person or know anyone that has to know how they work with the type of brush I have…anyway if you have a 3rd function this might be an option?

If there is a front PTO option on these tractors there is an abundance of decks that would work. Any deck that is just pushed or pulled around and run by a pro would work.

I'm not sure about the ability of the front remotes to run a hydraulic motor on a mower deck. Is that a possibility also?

I am not sure but fr mount snowblowers use the PTO don’t they… Maybe someone makes a deck?

Not sure the third function on a LX2610 would run something like that.
Not quite what I need for mowing ditches. But it sure is neat.

I was thinking more along the lines of a flex deck.

There is an 84" flex deck for sale not too far away for $2200 with a 22hp power unit. Might be why it's for sale. 26 HP is minimal for an 84" deck. But a flex deck - kind of like a light duty batwing would be nice

If you are just cutting some ditches along the roadside for a relatively short distance, you might want to consider this sickle type mower attachment - less than 2K if you already have a 3rd function kit on the FEL.

That's nice too, but not quite what I am looking for.

Will the 3rd function kit on a LX2610 run a hydraulic motor for a long period of time?

Seems like you had to have a special option to have enough hydraulics to do that on a skid loader

Fwiw, I found the mirrors attached to the loader arms very helpful. I bought these and they've held up under all of my uses.

It only needs 3 gallons a minute. A standard 3rd function is connected to the power beyond; I would think that it would do it. It is possible that you would need to use oversized hoses and/or connectors, but they show it working on some more compact tractors with smaller hydraulic pumps.

If it would work you (you said it would not), you could always contact the company for more information about requirements and plumbing.

You might want to give it a second look; your LX is not going to leave you with many options.

You could simply mount a push mower (or some other self powered mower - the kind ATVs pull around) to the side of the bucket with arms/hinges allowing it to float or a straight bar mounted on the bucket extending out to the side - joking, but also serious.

Thanks
I need mirrors on JD4010 as well. I am not very twisty anymore.

I am currently in Flaceblook jail for posting the person that coined the phrase Golden Years deserves a kick in the crotch. - inciting violence.

That particular deck would not be my first choice for what I need now. You never know what the future holds.

I am very curious as to whether Kubota is OK with running a hydraulic motor off the remotes as they are now.
I haven't seen anything for or against, other than speculation.

My only experience is with a skid steer and they had to have a special package to run hydraulic motors.

You could add two sets of remotes to the rear and do an offset flail mower for ditch banks. You could also get the front mount for the snow blower. I believe that extends the mid pto up to the front. Then you could fabricate some mounts to mount a deck.

I don't have any rear remotes yet. Waiting on them to get the tractor and install at least one.

Is there anything that says the Kubota can be used to run a hydraulic motor?

I haven't seen anything for sure on that yet.

On a previous machine, you had to add a pump and reservoir to the pto.

On a skid steer I looked at it had to have a hydraulic motor package to run hydraulic motors.

I'm not sure if the 3rd function could be set up to run a continuous flow. My understanding is that you activate the flow when you push the button. And holding it the whole time wouldn't be fun.
