I’m looking for help in locating different size buckets, 6”.. 8” … 12” for my BT820 backhoe. Of special need would be a ripper attachment. I had tried to order from BXpanded but theirs will not fit. As for buckets, I have scoured the internet without luck.
I bought my tractor with the 16” bucket and need to do some trenching for 6 to 8 inch pipe. Any help is appreciated.
thanks
Kurt
I am a little late joining this group and responding to this thread, but I am getting ready to order some B26 BT820 backhoe items from USA Attachments.
Background: I bought a used (2019? 2021?) B26 in early 2026 and it came with an aftermarket 36" pin-on backhoe bucket (supposedly a common item for grave diggers). It has advantages but not 100% compatible with the backhoe (the teeth will hit the boom arm when the bucket drops in the stowed position).
As of mid-August 2026 these are the prices (with free shipping within some distance from North Carolina?) that I was quoted for custom backhoe attachments for the B26 BT820 backhoe. These attachments are supposedly made of a heavier duty AR400 steel versus Kubota's T1 steel.
12" bucket (pin-on or QA): $1035
16" bucket (pin-on or QA): $1110
18" bucket (pin-on or QA): $1207
Ripper (pin-on or QA): Didn't get that price
Stumper (basically a double ripper): $1273
My understanding is that USA Attachments keeps all kinds of buckets in stock and will weld that appropriate ears on them (QA or pin-on) when the attachment is ordered. And since this topic was mentioned in this thread I'll add that I believe that USA Attachments also said they sell QA and Pin-on ears that you can weld to your own attachments.
QUESTION: I just received my Kubota QA backhoe adapter from Kubota and now I plan to order a 16" bucket and a "Stumper" (QA versions of both) since digging out stumps will probably be my most common backhoe task. Does anyone see any problems with my plan?
