Hello Everyone! So I just signed up here but I have owned Kubota tractors for a long time. My experience with them has been great EXCEPT for this one. I have a 2015 Kubota Kommander 125S. Given the great experience that I have had with my L5450 and my BX 2660, I purchased this Z-turn to help out with all the mowing. I must say that I am a bit dismayed. If I go to use it, it takes a booster pack and about 2 minutes of solid cranking for it to start. Once I get it started it runs great for about an hour or 2 and then the engine stalls. If I try to start it up again right away it just clicks but won't start. If I leave it sit (often out in the middle of the yard lol) for say around an hour, it will start cranking again. I'm sorry to bug people here but I am just becoming very frustrated with this. Has anyone here ever encountered an issue like this or do I just have a lemon from the factory. Like I said all my other Kubota stuff is GREAT! Never had issues with it so I am really surprised by this 125. If anyone has seen these issues and know what they are I would really appreciate any help. Thanks so much! - James

I actually replaced it two weeks ago with a brand new one but with no change to the issues I am having.
How are the condition of the battery cable ends? Both ends. Does it spin over easy while cranking or seem like it’s dragging? Has it done this since new?

Is the choke fully closing? 2 minutes cranking with a jump pack seems excessive. Might have more than one issue going on.

I’ve seen where the battery is bad enough that it would shut down the engine when the PTO clutch was engaged. It took just enough power away from the ignition coil to stop running.
