Hello All, I developed and issue the last few months and has gotten worse lately. When moving forward i runs fine than when backing up as soon as I push the pedal down to back up it starts moving than starts stalling out as if running out of fuel. I feel it may be a problem with the safety switch but not sure? Any ideas would be appreciated.

It doesnt stall all the time but lately more often than not and it is only when trying to back up? Seems as though when it first touches teh switch under teh pedal. I tried sdjusting switch but makes no difference.

Some mowers do not permit backing while mower deck is engaged, perhaps that switch is the issue not the pedal one.
My domestic rider has an ignition switch position to override that feature.

jfr109, what did you find was the problem? My Gr2000 developed the same issue and it died with or without the mower engaged. I ended up replacing all the safety switches. I ended up having two issues - the safety switch for the PTO lever and the motor kill relay in line with the KRA button.
