A local guy is selling a 2004 L3400 gear drive tranny, ag tires, 131 hours, and FEL. Looks like LA463. I am new to Kubota and have been searching to find what the going price is. He offered it to me at $10k. It is in good condition - nothing wrong with it as far as I can see.

Opinions please.

They are a very simple tractor, basically same as my L3800DT. If it runs & drives good and not leaking any fluids, it will be fine. It probably hasn't sold because most folks want HST trans these days, but I much prefer gear drive! I'd get it at that price!

I wouldn't waste a whole lot of time agonizing about it. At 131 hrs it can't have had too much go wrong. In today's world AG tires is an added bonus. Price is great! I'd be writing the check...

I'd be all over it like a fat kid in a candy store. Probably hasn't sold yet because this time of the year isn't really tractor season for many people.

Depends, no doubt the tractor is worth the money asked, but I have found if something is not really what you want, no matter the price, it is no bargain.
