2003 m5700

Need to replace a broken rock shaft on my 2003 m5700, cannot find my service manual after moving to my new place.
Any help with what needs to come off before getting to the shaft or can it come out with access through the top link plate removal?

The factory parts listing and images show the assembly of parts pretty well.

rbargeron, I have that parts blowup page, doesnt really show access but seems to show the retainer bolt on the rear side which may have access after removing where the third link is attached.
