Would anyone know where the Safety Switch (optional) is, that connects the alternator solenoid trigger wire and the brake switch. I cannot find the safety switch or where the white wire goes from the brake switch to the safety switch

From the wiring diagram, I do not see the optional safety switch tied into the alternator.

Instead, the circuit seems to be from the brake switch to the starter solenoid.

You have undoubtedly spent more time on this matter than I have. Am I missing something?

A few years late but here is the dirt on the starter wiring. On the wiring diagram there is a devise that is labeled (SAFETY SW OPTION). See attachment. It is where the white wire leaving the brake switch turns into the black wire with white stripe that connects to the starter solenoid. The (SAFETY SW OPTION) can cause an open circuit condition to the starter solenoid. Battery good, 12v at key switch good, PTO SW good, brake SW good but no power to the starter solenoid. Check the (SAFETY SW OPTION) located next to the seat switch under the seat. It’s just a connector. See attached photo.
