Its been kept under cover all its life, I hope its better plastic on the new one, part no ended 003 so its had 3 revisions. I'll put some inner tube on and try to make sure the strap is centred and hope for another 30 years! I think the engine vibration has a lot to do with it, not the smoothest...
Hate fuel leaks, found my tank has a 25mm ( 1 inch ) split in the recess where the tank strap secures the tank, its near the bottom of the tank, due to this covid 19 virus, had no option but to get a new tank at great cost rather than see if anyone can repair. Has anyone repaired these plastic...
I noticed a coolant leak from the crankcase of my B7100, it was coming from the plug that screws into the crankcase for the drain cock is, I've removed it and was wondering what sealant to use, hylomar blue or stag wellseal? I'll use some ptfe tape for the drain cock when I fit it to the plug.
Sounds like it is still getting starved of fuel, maybe take the fuel pipe off at the injector pump and run the fuel into a can to see if you have a constant flow of fuel, and nothing blocking the outlet from the tank? Rubber fuel hose collapsing internally with age?
I mailed one seller and he said it was made for the tractor, so not a loader subframe, I think that kinda answers my original question, it just seemed a bit of a coincidence that 2 B7100's were up for sale with some type of chassis strengthening although it appeared to be only fitted to the r/h...
Over here in arizona on holiday at the moment, I always find it sad to see a dead tractor left where it last stopped, even plant, someone somewhere could use the parts. A few years back in iceland I saw loads of zetors just abandoned, such a waste
I think your question has been answered, but oil has a smell, have a little sniff at your engine dipstick, then the gearbox dipstick there will be a difference. To be fair, gearbox oil would still be reasonably clear if it was leaking, engine oil normally black with a characteristic smell.
Had a look at both pics, my axle is the 1st one, so my comment still stands, upgraded wheel hub, maybe country specific?
The hydro (pic 2), do we know the age of it? Surprised kubota would change an axle so late on when the model would be replaced.
I've a B7100 at the moment on turf tyres, I've bought a set of ag rear wheels and tyres but I'm having a problem deciding what the correct front wheel backspace should be.
There seems to be 2 different 6 stud wheels that fit,
one has a backspace of 92mm, 3 5/8" with a label marked B8706...
