Kytim, thank you for that insight also. The mower is a John Deere mower and I had taken it off for the winter and put it back on just yesterday and the tractor immediately started acting up. I'd just completed two days of hard excavating with her and the clutch seemed fine then. Didnt notice...

Hi Matt, Thanks for taking the time to reply. Its a single stage clutch (pto stops when clutch is pushed in). There are only 600 hrs on the hr meter.How big a job is it to change the clutch? Bruce

So as it turns out, the Kubota dealer (by chance) gave me the wrong seal kit but was kind enough to exchange the wrong ones for the right ones. The centre seal was a peice of cake to get in as it was the correct thickness. I thought I was laughing but not so. There are 3 "rings" on the opposite...

Thanks I guess I"ll have to take it apart to see if I can unseize it.

I assume that its to isolate a part of the hydraulic system but it seems to be seized. I have to change a hydraulic line now so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
