    My L3301 won't throttle down....

My MX4800 just did the same thing. After looking into the slit where the throttle lever goes I put my finger in there and moved a little lever and fixed it. Needed some Teflon spray. YMMV

    New L3560 cab leaking.

One of the ways we tracked roof leaks was with a gentle spray from a hose. Start from the bottom and work your way up. Then tell the dealer what you found but not how.

Use a coil cleaner like Simple Green and you will be surprised at how much dirt and debris it loosens. Also buy the damn screen.

    L2350DT Steering Wheel Removal

I just pulled one off a B7800 with a 3 jaw puller. Tighten the puller up and then hit it with a big hammer. Might take a few tighten and hits. Shaft ws splined.

    Diesel transfer tank

Bit the bullet years ago and bought a 600 gallon tank from fuel distributer. Allows me to fill it up when prices come down. Use a biocide to prevent slime.

    Dealing with a broken window

I going to guess that this glass is set in butyl since I don't see weatherstripping. A heat gun and putty knife will clean up the old frame. Test fit and then a new layer of butyl caulk will set the glass. Be aware this stuff will get all over you like antisieze.

This is exactly what WD40 is good for. I would spray all the connections.

    MX question on a MX5400.

I really like my DeWalt battery power grease gun. I think it matters more how often you grease than what type. Another vote for Lock&Lube.

Fixing hole in side of block

When drilling in steel use a cutting fluid. You can use old motor oil or hydraulic fluid. Go slow.

Can you explain why ether is bad for these engines? Some old diesels even had a push button to squirt ether. It fires too early on the compression stroke? Why? Thanks
