Thanks I took the seat off and will try a couple of 2x4". If that's helps I'll go grab 2 pieces of 2x3x10" 1/8" wall aluminum tube for a permanent solution.

I just ran a 12 gauge primary wire with an in-line fuse (in loom) from the battery to the back rops on my LX. Wire tied it front to back along factory wire harness. At the back I'll have a abs project box to hold 2 switches and a small fuse box with 2- 5 amp fuses for my front and rear lights...

Maybe something like this? I would stipe off the 2 sides sticky foam tape and use an epoxy to hold it on? Just a thought
