    ZD 28 Bypass Help!

Just used the mower today. What a joy to be able to start and stop the mower without the hinderance of those darn safety switches. I drive it about the same as before. That is; I use the brake when I stop it, and flip on/off the blades when needed and you have to move the front handles to get it...

SUCESS!!! I was able to bypass all the safety switches! It was relatively easy once I knew where the wires originated from. Runs so nice now with no messing with the brake, arms position or seat just to start it. Thanks for the help and the diagrams. Ken

    ZD 28 Bypass Help!

Thanks for the replies. I have maintained the machine as well as possible, but it does take a beating. I bought it new in I think 2006-2008. I have taken it to the dealer when the switches malfunction as I have stated at least 6-7 times. Sometimes it takes 4 weeks to get it back from repair...

    ZD 28 Bypass Help!

BTW my name of amosmandy came from the combo of a couple of Collies I owned named Amos, and Mandy. As I stated, I have had ongoing problems with the safety switches. Even now, (which is why I posted) I have to pull the brake in and out sometimes several times to get it to start. It has been an...

    ZD 28 Bypass Help!

I understand the safety aspect, I really do. But these switches have malfunctioned at least 6 times since I have owned the mower. Each time it had to be towed to a dealer with 3-4 weeks downtime. Believe me when I say, if I can defeat these things, I would be very cognoscente of the added need...
