Good luck to all the “deer hunters” out there……Caution lots of "gruesome carnage" pics...

My Wife hasn't hit one (Yet) but found a dead Buck laying out in our front yard two mornings ago. It had been hit by a vehicle. Broke of the G2,G3 tines, broken rear leg and internal injuries. Have to be very careful driving this time of year (rut in full swing).

What can cause air in home plumbing?

'' ^^^^^ My first thought as well (no pun intended) faulty check valve(s) and asked that question early on (are check valves present). Still could be something else. Aren't plumbing issues fun?

    Closing the business

Yep, reall bad news since I could use a pair for my L2350DT.

Why is your vet bill so expensive?

Very interesting, thanks for posting that. Doubtful anything could be done about it at this point, but certainly informative. We just took my Daughter's 2 dogs in yesterday, one a 15.5 yr old Dachshund the other a 10 month old Pyrenees and Corgi mix (yeah I know, how does happen). Left with...

What can cause air in home plumbing?

Dissolved gases in water solution (water temperature high) escapes more easily than in cold water, may be one explanation for that. I don't think an aged Anode Rod has anything to do with the OP's issue either, but most will need replacement at 3-7 yrs depending upon water condtion and wether...

What can cause air in home plumbing?

A corroded anode rod could certainly allow for Hydrogen gas bubbles to form. However 'pure' hydrogen gas has no odor and the gas bubbles could be mistaken for air. Worth checking out, but my suspicion is OP has leak somewhere in the suction side of the system (since he said the system holds...

That is terrible news for much of the tractor owning community. Such a great product and wonderful service/items you have provided over the years.

    Gas question

I use EO in my ATV and in some of my two stroke small engines. I find it does 'store' better and I've had fewer problems with it than with E10 in small engines. It is a 30 minute drive to get some and a buck more a gallon, but worth it IMO.

You have Check Valves in the system?

Dropping an implement with engine off

With regards to the 3 point, it is always 'gravity' down anyway.....so doesn't matter if the engine/pump are running or not. I always lower implements and FEL with engine off when putting the tractor up.

    Do I really need ?

^^^^^ Agreed. Love all my Honda stuff, but for the inverter generator went with the Yamaha. It has been absolutely flawless for the last 10 yrs.

    Stabil wins, hands down.

I've seen the video before. I use SeaFoam to keep things clean (injectors, etc) on my engines. I never have anything sitting around (without use) for year or more. So no issues with starting or running.

150ft drive and stump clearing BX23S

Very nice! A lot of hard work, but will be there a lifetime. Good job.

    ^^^^^ Same for me. SeaFoam.

Is this a shear pin on my PTO shaft?

As mentioned above that is a 'Roll Pin'. Finish mowers don't really need a shear pin or clutch arrangement. The blades are belt driven so IF you hit something immoveable the belt will simply slip. Belt tension is via a spring and tensioner pulley.

    Fake Kubotas

Exactly. I'm certainly not making excuses for anyone. Kubota made every attempt to make sure the brand name is prominently displayed. On my own tractor, you can't miss it. Example:

    Fake Kubotas

I think the misspelling is in large part due to the mispronunciation of the name. Kubota (Koo-Bow-Tuh) would be correct. But many folks pronounce it (Kuh-Bow-Tuh) and go on to spell it phonetically 'Kabota'. I live in rural Deep East Texas, so I am used to hearing all kinds of 'butchered'...

What type and size of rock/other for this wet hillside?

^^^^^^ Hmmmm......you know that might just work. Thank You.
