Thanks Mikester, I assume you've ordered from this company before. What kind of quality would you say the sleeve material was? I called and the guy I talked to said they are manufactured by Fairview.

Since I'm doing a lot of tree work, protecting the hoses is a nice idea, but protection from pressurized oil spray also sounds desireable.

The fitting at the top of the cylinder is a 90 degree elbow. So I need to consider that.

I need to install 2 new hydraulic hoses on the thumb cylinder of my kx033 excavator. The hoses measure .80 in. dia. and I'm not sure how to size the nylon protective sleeve I'd like to install. I'm assuming a snug fit would be desirable as long as it slips over hose without too much effort...

I like that. Got back on machine a couple of days ago after the seat got full sun for a few minutes and got the hot seat. Started me wondering about some type of cover right then.

I bought my kubota machine a few months ago. It's a 2020 model and the seat is in near new condition except for a 1/8" small hole where a cigarette or ember touched it. Am hoping to get some suggestions on what to use to keep it from getting bigger. Thanks all.

I need some advice concerning what to do about the hydraulic oil in my machine. It's a 2020 KX033-4 excavator that I got back in march with 1600 hrs. on it. Talked to previous owner and he said he used ISO 68. Manual says to use Shell Tellus S2M46 or S2MX 46 in summer or high ambient temps, so...
