B2601 Treadle Pedal hard to use

Where exactly is this spring you removed, and on what side of the tractor is it located? On the right side where treadle is located it has two springs under the floor board. On the left side of tractor where brake peddle is located there is one spring under the floor board that controls a safety...

Cutting edge for Kubota B2601 with 54 inch bucket

As I stated in other post above, my cutting edge came from my local Kubota dealer. Just under $200, and included the bolts and nuts for the install. Fit perfect, and I use it all the time and it still shows no wear at all. Great protection for the bucket edge. The bucket came with the holes...

    What tools?

Don't forget a few clean rags to keep on hand to wipe the zerks before greasing. A small flashlight is also good to have on hand. I have two boxes on my B2601 to keep a scraper knife, screw driver, rag, couple extra pins for your attachments in use, hat, gloves, one each of adjustable wrenches,

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

Look back at post #17. It shows where I used flat stock and switched over to the narrow angle iron stock. Much more stable and no wiggling of mirrors. angle stock came from Lowes. I bought a 3' length and cut what I needed, cleaned and sanded before painting. A 3' length cut in half will get...

    Bucket leveling indicator

I know this has been mentioned before, but I need to know about the B2601 tractor with a LA435. I built a level indicator for my L series tractor I used to have and it worked great, but I want to add one to the new B2601 now. I don't really need it so much any more, but it would be nice for a...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

Looks good bbxlr8. If you ever have to raise the mirrors, I think you have enough of that tower that you can add a length of 1" angle iron to the outside of the tower, and clamp it where your clamp is now and once again a couple inches just below that clamp. That will give you height if needed...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

I did not have to drill any holes in tractor at all. I used the existing holes in the towers with large heavy washers so I can tighten them without deforming the washers in the large holes. Nothing has come loose yet and I have been doing a lot of digging and grapple work and shaking the...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

I can't imagine being without these mirrors now. I had to go on our road and even though it is a private road, the neighbors run up and down rather fast and I can't hear them coming over the tractor noise, and I feel much safer knowing who is coming up behind me when I am on that road! Good luck...

Adding mirrors so I don't have to turn in my seat!

My mirrors have been working perfectly since mounting. I have accidentally walked into my mirrors a couple times and they moved out of the way without hurting me or the mounting. I am thankful for that. If anything was to happen to these mirrors, I would absolutely buy two more just like these...

I have the bolt on cutting edge and bought it from local dealer. I had to order, but it came rather quickly and included bolts ad nuts. Very pleased with it.

    BH77 issue with chatter

I have a fairly new B2601 with the BH77 back hoe, and once in a while I was getting the chatter. I found that each time I have to install the back hoe on the machine again, the first thing I do is do a stretch. I extend the booms out as full as they go. Run side to side and curl the bucket. I...

    Filter Wrench Choices

I have the proper size filter wrenches I need with the metal bands, but I prefer to use the strap wrench instead. So much easier to maneuver. I even got an extra strap wrench to open the larger jars in the house. Works great on the stubborn pickle jars too! ;)

AGM Battery? Is it worth it?

Just bought the AGM for my Kawasaki 360 Prairie we run around here in the woods. Got it at Sams Club this morning. Came with a 6 mo guarantee. I am good until January at least! A little pricey. The guy said if I have any trouble or change my mind to just bring it back. I think it's a keeper for now.
