    BX2380 PTO disengaged and won’t re-engage

Unbelievable. I had same problem with my 2019 BX23S. Thank the Lord I was able to find the solution via OTT community. The biggest hassle was notching the frame. Once accomplished, pulling the valve was no trouble. Cleaning the tiny port was a challenge. Silicone packs pretty tight apparently...

    FEL slowly goes down.

Sounds like aftermarket check valves could be useful. Any reason other than cost that would cause someone to not want to have them/it installed?

    FEL slowly goes down.

Hey all, ive got a 2019 BX23s with hydraulic leakdown issues. The stablizer arms slowly lower over time. I have to park in a tight space, but every time i operate this machine, i must remember to raise the stabilizers, otherwise ill clip the wall beside it. It has been this way since purchased...

    Bx23s arm rest defect?

Excellent suggestions guys. I will definitely keep beating on my dealer and attempt to do a home repair while i wait. Definitely will NOT spend $900 fir a new seat. Id sooner sit strap on a milk crate. As for the comment about the internal support being broke. It is stout when i put normal...

    Bx23s arm rest defect?

Thanks G. Was unaware of the JB bumper product. Will give it a try. Ive got my defect documented with my Kubota dealer, so I suppose there is no harm in me attempting a home repair. Especially since they are claiming there are no replacement parts available for the immediate future.

    Bx23s arm rest defect?

Hey guys, got distracted for a while, so failed to keep up with the replies. Has anyone tried JB Weld for something like this? I did have great success with it on a Swiss Army knife. Nothing else i tried would adhere the plastic handle to the stainless steel. Also just saved myself some...

    Bx23s arm rest defect?

Negative on the weight on armrest theory. This is the underside near where it pivots. Also, I am 6’2” and 180lbs, so I doubt I am putting more strain on anything mounting or dismounting than any other human would. The trim caps did get gone soon after purchase which was frustrating, but not a...

    Bx23s arm rest defect?

Anyone else having this issue? My padded armrest vinyl has split open twice now. Once a couple of months after purchase and again at only 2 years old. This machine is garage kept and only has about 170 hours of lite residential use. It has in no way been abused. The dealer replaced the entire...

    BX23S front end hydraulics

Yeah, I’m not on this thing every day, but do spend a few hours each week on it. Primarily with fork operations, and I sure would have thought I’d be better at it by now. Everything else I do on it is somewhat intuitive. Not the forks. Oh well, it’s an excuse for more practice time.

    BX23S front end hydraulics

Folks, again thanks for all the excellent input. I worked with the forks again over the weekend moving railroad ties and diesel tank, etc. really put it to work. I think I have concluded that the machine can do exactly what has been described by some of you, which is very precise & delicate...

    BX23S front end hydraulics

Thanks again for all the input guys. And yes, I’ll agree there is never a substitute for good old fashioned practice. I guess I’m just surprised by how slow I am to gain control with the forks, but the backhoe came pretty easily. I was reasonably comfortable and competent with the backhoe after...

    BX23S front end hydraulics

…sense of inadequacy. Guess I need to keep practicing.

    BX23S front end hydraulics

Yeah, I did some testing last night and it appears my biggest problem is when I tilt the forks and lower at the same time. Like moving into a stack of pallets or positioning under a round bale. I also tend to fold my forks straight down and lower to the ground to park, since my current parking...

Never tried that, but will check this evening and report back. Thanks

    BX23S front end hydraulics

Folks, I’ve got to revisit this discussion again. With forks on my Bx23s, the drop speed sure does seem to be excessive. Ive got to seriously concentrate and just barely touch the controls to avoid a major drop with empty forks. Why is this so touchy compared to the 3 point controls, back hoe...

    BX23S front end hydraulics

Yeah, seems like using the forks is where I really noticed the problem. No doubt due to the weight distribution being shifted so far forward compared to a bucket. Still, sure would be handy to be able to choke the flow back when necessary. I would say moving bees is definitely a time when...

    BX23S front end hydraulics

No, not in float. I’m sure you are correct about me needing more time in the seat. I just thought it a little odd that there would be tail end adjustments, but nothing on the front. I thought I may have overlooked something. Thanks for the quick response.
