Kubota B5100DT 3 point hitch falling

Good to hear. Mine also needs assistance to lower the arms when there is no weight. I kind of expect that to go away after the o-ring takes a set and has some wear. It’s no issue to push them down though.

    Another No starter rotation thread

Can’t really be sure on the pin out or the connection of the relay, but suspect this one is similar/same. The part used for Kubota and JD looks like nippondenso 056700-6690. Hard to find specs but looks like a 12v, 20amp relay. You should be able to find a suitable version from another...

Kubota B5100DT 3 point hitch falling

The cover/cap o-ring looks to be 04810-50550. You’ll also want the little O-ring for the valve port 04811-00100.

    Fake or real filter

I buy and put Donaldson filters in my Kubota, and other stuff on purpose. Also tend to use Baldwin filters a fair bit. Every Kubota filter I've bought said "Made in Indonesia" on the label. Wouldn't surprise me to see "Made in China" though. Japan outsources just like the US.

Kubota B5100DT 3 point hitch falling

My b6100 had that issue of the 3pt slowly lowering. Oil leaking past the piston o-ring. Old set up was an O-ring. Mine was very worn. New setup was a thin spiral ring of white PTFE or UHMW and then the O-ring. Not sure if the plastic ring is a whisper, or just to take up space and make the...

    B6100 tranny removal

In case others find this thread. I removed the Transmission without removing the axle cases, tires, PTO shaft, ect... Just removed the 3 point to get access to the bolts inside, and then removed the exterior bolts. The Transmission came off fine, with just a little work to get the pinion bearing...

Warranty repair at dealer where you did not purchase the tractor.

Seems to me fairly common practice for Corporate to require all dealers to service vehicles/equipment. And then for dealers to provide preferential treatment to their customers. I see it in tire shops, saw shops, car dealers, equipment dealers, ect..... If you have another dealers sticker on...

    B7100 ignition switch help

My tractor is a B6100, very similar. Both my factory ignition switch and the new switch I have in a box (66706-55120) have a very small key (square protrusion) that keys into the panel notch. The small square protrusion is at the bottom of the notch that is in the ignition switch. The ignition...

    TRACTOR SUPPY STORES for KUBOTA?

They say on the site you can pick the brand if you desire. I picked Donaldson..... for my B6100 the kit was quite a bit cheaper than Kubota brand, but it’s probably the hydro intake screen that sways the price in my case. I’ve yet to cut the oil filter apart and see how it looks inside. Listed...

    B6100 tranny removal

I have a new to me B6100D that has a torn up 13t gear (2nd gear?) and the corresponding 13t/17t gear (PTO 2nd gear?) in the tranny. Looks like the previous owner had an issue while operating a PTO driven implement in 2nd. Tranny has a click in both second and reverse. Much quieter in reverse, I...

    B7100D loader Hydraulics Restoration

The bottom of my tank was sludge. I used a small hand pump designed for pumping lower unit oil ect. I’d add fluid, stir it all up with a bent wire through the pickup port, then pump it out. It took several repeats to get it cleaned out. I then filled it with fluid and exercised the loader for...

    Narrow tractor, crazy wide wheels

When you said you had it widened out I pictured the old Massey-Ferguson orchard tractors I used to drive in my uncles orchards. Yours looks quite tall and skinny rear tires for orchard work. We used these things...

Spacers - Front and Rear, or Rear Only?

Front spacers move your tires out further from the steering pivot points. This adds stress to wheel bearings, king pins/knuckles, steering tie rods, and steering box. It also makes your tires swing more for a given amount of pivot which can cause tire clearance issues.

    Hydraulic Fill Port

Wow, someone’s used all the good out of those hoses. Our local Napa can make hoses on the spot. Just take the old for them to copy. That fill plug port adapter swivels so should be easy enough to remove for servicing. That line won’t be under residual pressure.

    hydro fluid

Kubota calls it “universal trans-hydraulic fluid”. And the SDS on Kubota’s site is a Valvoline SDS. https://www.kubotausa.com/docs/default-source/safety-data-sheets/product-name/kubota-super-udt2-3_1-ga-70000-40201.pdf?sfvrsn=7fed4a29_4
