What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had an arborist top and drop a dead tree behind the house and then did several myself. I’m still a rank amateur when it comes to felling but live trees don’t bother me too too much. One ash was the biggest thing I’ve cut to date. I probably won’t cut anything that large again anytime soon. I...

Anyone else get excited about snow?

moving one barge south to New York to wrap up the dredging project that just wouldn’t end, then racing south after getting fuel to pick up the next barge to make a high water berth at a sand dock in New Jersey. The weather ended up being worse than forecast when it came to sea state, not unusual...

Anyone else get excited about snow?

The mrs said we got around 18” last night, all I got was a 10’ sea out of the south with a wind driven 2-3’ chop out of the NW in block island sound. A total ass kicking on this little 78’ tugboat. Certainly jealous of the giant piles of snow she got to make, though she fully admitted I’ll need...

    EA vs Homestead

If you’re that desperate for cream cheese I’ll go down the street to the Cabot factory and mail you some when I get home. Thought I’m not sure what cream cheese, lettuce and toilet paper have to do with equipment shortages. panic buying aside, I haven’t seen much in the way of major shortages...

A shout out to all you M7060 owners.

that’s how I feel about the Grand L’s with a cab versus my LX2610HSDC. The local dealer has a L4060 HSDC on the lot and it’s a good thing it wouldn’t fit the tractor parking spot under our carport! Well or through and of the garden gates, etc etc.

    EA vs Homestead

honestly this is one of the more spoiled boomer things I’ve heard in a while. Well maybe this week. In any number of the hobbies I’ve had, or even in my line of work, ordering ahead and experiencing long wait times has been the norm my entire life. The hobbies being especially relevant as for...

The reality of selling a late model used Kubota in today's market.

bingo, my brother in law lives in New Hampshire and loves to go on about live free or die. Yet the property taxes on his McMansion in a town with next to no municipal services are absolutely eye watering. Worse even than the town I left on Cape Cod when we moved up the hill. At the end of the...

    Hydraulic upgradable rear blade?

I didn’t realize those landpride blades also came as a manual version. Until you look at one of the PDF’s it’s not readily apparent. That’s what I get for not digging through all of it. “Oh jeeze hun, I’ve got to buy a welder and learn to weld in order to save money. It just has to be done!”...

    Hydraulic upgradable rear blade?

In an ideal world I would have gotten rear remotes and a hydraulic swing/angle rear blade when I bought my LX, but hindsight is 20/20 and I didn’t realize that will likely be my ideal set up (in combination with the bucket) for moving snow at my property. the question being now, are there any...

Edge Tamers on the FEL bucket

Big fan of mine, when I can get a rear blade I think it will be the perfect combo for my property.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally got home four days late after my normal 14 days on the boat. Relief had covid and ended up in the hospital at one point. So really I got off easy. Did manage to make it home just in time to clean up 12-14” of snow here in Northern VT.

    Zero complaints with mine.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I don’t have a ton of crown in the driveway so I went with two for now. It seemed to work ok though there are a couple spots I’m sure will need touching up when I finish the driveway & parking in the spring. Considering getting the real deal ones next year and the garbage bin holders that go...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Old Bob is correct that they’re from vector. At the time they were in stock, kind of made the choice easy.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Of all the people in logistics I think the delivery drivers get shafted pretty close to the hardest. A big reason for all of the driveway work I’m doing is to make it a lot easier for them to get in and out. It very rarely hurts to be good to people in my book.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

First morning of pushing snow, and I was really excited that my knock off edge tamers worked better than expected. 7-8” of fluffy powder pushed and piled.

    R14 Tires - LX2610 - Snow Chain Recommendations

Ice-Pik studded chains on R-14’s with 2” spacers. Work well, and when you do it right pretty easy on and off. Ive got a gravel/stay mat drive though so no input on damage to asphalt but I’d imagine they would do a number.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

My usual, fishing rocks out for the new parking area. With all the foliage gone I was able to strike some pay dirt and grab five good ones. Three just about at the limit of what she could lift.
