BX2822A 55" Commercial Snow Blower - DO NOT purchase BX2821A hydraulic deflector kit if you have a third function. Do this instead . . .

LOL, it probably is a little more money but I don't think you would need the original bucket then. Here is the link to the Land Pride info page. Might save you some back work. https://www.landpride.com/products/6117/cb10-series-combination-bucket or you can search Land Pride 4 in 1 combination...

BX2822A 55" Commercial Snow Blower - DO NOT purchase BX2821A hydraulic deflector kit if you have a third function. Do this instead . . .

Ok, now I understand more. I never saw the whole hydraulic chute kit. Dealer asked if I wanted it and I said yes without really looking into it. I always did think it was pretty expensive for what I saw on the unit. But I needed/wanted the 3rd function valve installed and so I included the fancy...

BX2822A 55" Commercial Snow Blower - DO NOT purchase BX2821A hydraulic deflector kit if you have a third function. Do this instead . . .

If you are installing a TRUE 3RD Function VALVE on your B2601, you will already be getting the buttons/switch on your joystick (I attached a pic I found how mine looks. That pic shows the upper left side of joystick, very neat and clean setup) you will not be getting unneeded extra parts when...

Thanks for all the Answers, Ordered my B2601 Today!!!

Here are some pics of what the hydraulic chute deflector looks like on my blower setup. It is ridiculously priced but having a remote chute deflector is a must if you're going to be snowplowing around buildings and vehicles. I was getting the factory installed 3rd function valve anyway because...

Thanks for all the Answers, Ordered my B2601 Today!!!

I can attach pics of what my set up looks like later today or tomorrow. I thought at first too: "how hard can it be to manually move the chute up and down" but I am sure glad I have it now. When blowing snow and it's windy out, and if you do have to try and blow into the wind or cross wind...

Thanks for all the Answers, Ordered my B2601 Today!!!

Hello Davidmem, like Paulr said, since you have a hydraulic shoot deflector, it would be best to have a 3rd function valve installed and needed for other fun attachments you'll probably want to make jobs easier. I attached a pic of what my 3rd function valve looks like. On top of the joy stick...

Thanks for all the Answers, Ordered my B2601 Today!!!

I have the BX2822A 55" snowblower. The chute is hydraulic driven, left and right, you move the joy stick, the chute deflector angle up & down is controlled by the 3rd function switch, which controls a hydraulic ram to the deflector. My 3rd function was installed by the dealer. It is part of the...

Thanks for all the Answers, Ordered my B2601 Today!!!

Congrats! The the hydraulic chute deflector is a must if you will be snowblowing the neighborhood. Otherwise, you would be getting on & off the tractor a lot. If you have to, in a tight spot, you can almost point the chute down next to the tractor. Don't want to break the neighbors windows, lol...

Which tires should I order on my B2601

Congrats! I think you'll be pleased. I did snowblow across the yard, to clear a path to the LP tank. The first 3-4 blowings, I set the skids about an inch high and floated the blower. Worked good, it will shave off any high spots in the yard, lol.

Which tires should I order on my B2601

I'm located in northern Wisconsin and have a 2020 B2601 with the turf 33x12.5x15 rear (filled) and 23x8.5x12 front. They have performed great on the lawn, driveway maintenance, landscaping, working in woods on dry and damp conditions. I also have a front 55" snowblower for clearing a 1/2 mile...

Can't find a B2601, is the B2601 the right pick.

Hi Tim1983, I got my B2601 delivered July 2020 from dealer in Antigo, WI. I already have 96 hrs on it, actually fun to work with! For it's size, it's a great workhorse. It comes with the FEL, dealer installed 3rd function valve, Turf tires (I love them, plenty of traction and so far great in the...

    Grading Scraper for a B2601

So Sorry, chimpywrench, I have the GS0560, the lighter Land planner/Scraper. One other experience I had, the ballast from the GS0560 felt very good when I was hauling full buckets of top soil this summer. Tractor felt balanced. Like I said in my previous post, not having the adjustable side...

    Grading Scraper for a B2601

I have the GS060, yes adding the blades does make it a little heavier. They should sell the unit with the rear blades to begin with, IMO. When using the implement, you will try pushing soil backwards. My suggestion is to add rear blades to protect your investment. If you don't have them right...

    Grading Scraper for a B2601

I have a B2601 and have the GS0560 Land Planer/Grading Scraper. I was wondering the same thing about the differences. Dealer told me also about proper fit with the GS0560. So I got the GS0560, mainly for grading the driveway and for leveling the lawn because of landscaping I needed done. Also...

    First Snow for the B2601

This is my first winter also with my 2020 B2601 and 55" blower. I have 2 link 3/8" ladder style chains ordered along with Kubota B8786 wheel spacers (1 3/8"). I also have a mid mount mower, does anyone know for sure if the spacers are not compatible with MMM deck? I can not even get a straight...
