    LS Finish Mower?

Anyone have a LS Finish Mower? I am looking for a mower for my tractor. Did not even know LS made implements. Probably are made by one of the major manufacturers, but no idea which one. This looks like a good deal - 6' mower for $1300, and it looks to be in decent shape. Anyone know about...

Lost a tire today, now what?

Thanks everyone. I do realize now that I should have been checking the pressure - I have to do that fairly often with the front ones, but never checked the rear ones. I've been spoiled by my big tractors with tubes never really leaking down. Will put a tube in this time if they can do it.

    newbe spacer question

Not sure if you are using a MMM or a 3 pt mower. If MMM, be sure you can fit 3" spacers with it. The newer models can only take 1.5" spacers I believe to clear the mower deck. I did put 3" spacers on my 2620 and it has worked out great - feels 10 x more stable on slopes, and I am almost...

Lost a tire today, now what?

Somehow got a flat on the rear of my 2620 today - R4 tires. Very weird - I thought the hydro had gone out, but turned out the tire was spinning in the rim apparently as I was going no where. Used the front wheel drive to get home. I panicked, as I thought I had blown out something on hydro...

    Tire Chain Tensioners

Got a set of small tire chains for the front of my B2620. I don't see how I will ever keep them on without some kind of tensioner. I have never needed to use them on my big tractors, so I don't know anything about them. I see ones that will fit on the outside of the rim obviously. But there...

    oil change

X2 on the levers. Check your PTO lever. I often catch mine with the hammer loop on my coveralls when getting off the tractor, and if the tractor is not running when it happens, I don't realize it. Tim

    Front Plow for B2620?

Can anyone confirm this is the correct subframe and plow for my B2620? The tractor attachment is a B2733A and the plow is a BX2763A. There is a guy who says this came off a B7510 and will sell both pieces for $750. Seems like a good deal if they will fit. Thanks, Tim

    Wheel Spacer Question

I am not a math major. But after putting 3" spacers on my B2620, I went from every small incline feeling "this thing is gonna tip over" to "oh, I had better pay attention to the slope". I did roll the tractor once when I first bought it, before putting on the spacers. I had many years...

Leaks from both pivots on front axle steering?

My 2620 was leaking on one side. I topped off the resevoir with heavier gear oil and that seemed to take care of the problem. I was running the Kubota 30 wt per the manual -thought that seemed pretty light to begin with. Tim

    Service life of hydraulic hoses

I don't think the hoses on my wood splitter have ever been replaced, and dad built it around 1980. It sits outside all the time, but is covered with an old plywood box. I bet the old ones are much heavier than the new ones, and probably ag duty hoses heavier than compact tractor hoses.

Looking for something to protect floor from chains

Probably too late to help you...I had the same issue with the plywood floor of my shed. I went the cheap way - bought two 1x12 10 foot hemlock boards from the local sawmill and screwed them down to the floor. Worked fine. Easy to store once I took them back up this spring. Tim

    B2620 Snow Plow Options

Getting sick of plowing with a back blade - the old neck does not like to turn as well as it did 30 years ago. Thinking of getting a plow for my B2620. Looking on U tube, I saw a nice video, but it seems if I switch to a SSQA setup, I will need to run a 3 valve to have power angle - makes...

Adapting a snow plow to my B2620 - hydraulic questions

Assuming you don't have a loader? So can I look at my 2620 loader and tell you which lines lift vs dump? Is that all you need to know? Tim

    Thoughts on tire chains

I finally got rear duo-grip chains for my B2620 this year and it makes a world of difference. I don't plow with it as I have a big farm tractor. After using the chains after the first heavy snow - 10", but very dense and heavy, I am gonna put chains on the front also. Steering was really...

wtb - LA364 or compatible loader for B2620HSD

You will probably want to put wheel spacers on it. My 2620 was really tippy, and I actually tipped it over the first time I used it. I put 3" spacers on it and it made a world of difference. But if it has a belly mower you can only go with 1.5" spacers. Tractordata.com will give you all the...

New to tractor tires...need help with replacement/repair of 12.4-24 tubed/filled tire

Do you have a farm tire service in your area? I have a good one that will come and do everything at the house, reload the tires, etc. Not sure how they would handle the bad rim - they might want to replace it. But its well worth the cost to have the pro's do it correctly. I would replace the...

    Chain Choice for B2630

If you have not purchased yet, check out Tire Chains Required at https://www.tirechainsrequired.com/pages/contact-tire-chains-required. I was going to order from another site, but I found these guys at the last minute. With shipping my chains were just under $400. The other site price kept...

    Wheel spacers for b2601

Pretty sure you can only go with 1.5" spacers with the MMM. I put 3" spacers on my 2620 and am very pleased - it was pretty scary stock. But I won't every use a MMM, will eventually get a rear finish mower possibly.

    Chain Choice for B2630

I am exactly where you are with my b2620. Its helpless in the snow as is, so I pretty much park it and use my farm tractor all winter. But I finally decided to get chains this year so I can get around if I need the bucket. I have settled on Duo-Grips and no way would invest in the extra cost...

Spacers - Front and Rear, or Rear Only?

I started this innocently enough and was surprised how many people responded. I did end up buying 3" spacers for my B2620, rear only. I had the same trailer loading concerns, which finally helped me decide not to go wider. The tractor feels much more stable, but I have not done a whole lot...
