    Perkins injection pump.... disc?

Both of my old perkins diesels have a little disc on the front of their fuel pumps that serves some unknown purpose.... maybe a buffer? On the one engine it has failed and leakes bad but I can't replace it as I have no idea what it even is or what it does. If no one has a clue what I'm talking...

Trying to improve my sprayer..... electric PTO? Crazy right?

I have an old sprayer. Worn out mostly, need to make a pump from the like.... 4 blown up pumps I have for it. It could be a standby tank.... easy to bolt a motor to a frame with no PTO involved. I believe they push 30 GPM so would transfer fill my sprayer in... 6 mins or so.

Tank is 200 gallons, I thought about using an old sprayer tank to do it that way.

Trying to improve my sprayer..... electric PTO? Crazy right?

A thing probably alot of small farmers are familiar with or maybe I'm not privy to something but whenever I use sprays that are granular it's the same process every time..... fill tank, add chemicals.... go walk around for 20 mins while it mixes then come back and go spray. Repeat for all 10...

Usually changing front axle fluid isn't somthing you do in the "heat of battle" kind of days lol

Yea not all diesels are happy at the 600 rpm idle

Your manual better shows what to do on mine than my paper manual... lol. Obviously I made the mistake but it's a very poor design choice to reuse a hole used for plugs in other versions of that tractor to hold a shutter. Especially when it's an easy to remove bolt that on alot of other tractors...

It also drains from both sides but you have to fill the sides and then the center. Can't just fill from the center as the fluid travels very slow from center to sides. So you could you would just have to wait a while

It's an odd design choice, if they would have made it hard to remove it would have been much less easy to mistake... they put red locktite in it but only near the bolt head so it came right out easily
