    So the old girl runs good and now just buttoning up leaks and it's very smokey engine. It's fun to roll coal but it's not helpful for efficiency although it's still fantastic on fuel but it needs some tuning and I'm unsure whare to start... Timing? Fuel settings inside the pump? Injectors...

    Green Diamond they are called here.... same ones that when we had a Lemon 5083En that fell apart were like "That sucks we can sell you new" lasted 1700 hours. Meanwhile I have a 2350 and 2355 that have 10K hours and running great. I'm not sure how you would contact John deere themselves in...

    This got so much more interesting! We were talking to different dealers and such.... Basically Engine just needs a head gasket and deere made up an insane cost and said it needed an engine so we would buy new..... soooo me deere is now at the kubota dealer getting fixed lol.

    It's a 540 shaft that spins 1000. They do that for low load things because you can idle the tractor to run it.

    I have to look it up the reverse pto slot exists for specific things for loading grain I guess. It was an option apparently. I think the 540 spline was because they ran a 540 implement and it let it just sit there and idle to run it. It's incredible it's so specialized I have 2 pto slots...

    I was very confused I put the stub in the other slot and hooked up a pump and I was like..... reverse????? Why would anyone ever want reverse. I just assumed it was 540

    Wondering if this tractor has any way to switch to 540 vs 1000 pto. For some dumb reason it has 1000 and 1000 reverse. Not sure if it can do 540 or not.

    So the engine is gone unfortunately, pretty sure when they said the first time the bubbles was nothing that it lead to overheating in spots or the intercooler was not getting good flow and thus the intake air was too hot. No idea it's got big blowby, inconsistent compression and low power...

    Only thing I had to use like a dyno in the meantime was a water pump. Just to test the blowby, definitely there but I have seen worse and definitely not enough to effect boost.

    I thought the intercooler could have been why the bubble issue exists but the issue is still there even if the intercooler is out of the circuit.

    Well I don't think it's been over heated badly but I'm not the only driver of it either. It's going into the shop again and hopefully it's simple things... also I know lol I have a 2350 with 11,000 hours going strong.... that being said I did have a 5083EN that the trans blew at 1700 hours...
