    After market or such cab

I watched the build as you posted, amazing job. I was going to do similar until I started pricing steel and glass. The glass company near me quoted $1100 for tinted safety glass!! Too rich for me on a fixed income. I would like a different heater. The electric will warm it up but not enough to...

    After market or such cab

I have some pictures on my phone but don't know how to put them up here. I'm no computer guru to say the least. I can't take any with my digital camera because I took the cab off today. It's in 5 pieces and stored away.

    After market or such cab

I searched for a cab last fall after getting a snow blower, too pricey for me. I made one from plywood and lexan that comes off with 6 bolts. $600 with electric heat and a defroster fan. Took about a week sourcing materials and construction. Works great but is very loud inside I use ear protection.

    The new L3800 HST

I would really like to till my garden but there is still 4 feet of snow covering it up. More snow tomorrow, it's the winter that won't end. At least it got up to 30 today and that's on the + side of the gauge.

    front snowplow

It will work fine. I have a plow mounted on a quick hitch plate on my 3800, loaded rears and a weight for the 3pth. I put chains on the front to help with the sliding from pushing an angled blade. I have had no problem moving any snow we've had. It is much faster than just the bucket. I...

400'x400' lot with 8" snow cleared with L3800 FEL

+1 I have used a modified plow blade with manual angle for over 20 years on 2 different kubotas. It is much faster than a bucket. I have a quick attach hookup and can swap between them with ease. I'd really like a hydraulic angle to change on the fly someday. I had a blower but the drive is too...

    Thinking about an L3200/3800

I love my 3800 HST. I've had it about 3 years now and no problems. I didn't see anyone mention that they don't have a center pto so a belly mower won't work. I have had a Kubota RC60 finish mower for at least 12 years and it is absolutely bullet proof. Very rugged and made well. I don't know...

    L3400 Rear hydraulics

If you do a search for jerky 3pth, you'll find it is a common problem with many L series kubotas. There are fixes out there. I do not know if any really work. I learned to live with my 3800's sometimes jerky lift.

    My Attempt at a Cab

Verra nice!! A well done job. I hope to get one built for my L3800. That's what I said about my last tractor too(didn't ever do it, had it 17 years)!

Buying First Kubota L3800HST or JD 3038E? Why

Orange is much easier to find in the tall grass....:D I tried both before I bought my 3800. I may be a bit biased towards Kubota after owning one for 17 years, but I just couldn't get away from the non- removable loader on the Deere. It does come off but it looked like too much work for me...

    Decided on L3800

Congrats! I know I really like mine. I would recommend loading the rear tires. It made a world of difference in stability. Of course, I don't have a BH, yet..... I do have a weight drum on the 3pth (9- 80 lb. bags of cement). Your price was close to what I paid and yes, they're a bit more up...

    l3800 transmission noise

Mine is loud too, much louder than the 20 year old B7200 HST it replaced. It also starts easier, has loads more power, steers easier, mows faster, moves way more snow and is just much more tractor all around. I'll keep it. I didn't really want a cab, really.

    L3800 Reviews?

I bought my 3800 last spring. It is everything I expected. I don't have a backhoe so can't help you there. I mowed 4 acres of lawn all summer and bush hogged enough to learn my 4' woods was way too small for this machine, still looking for a good used 5-6 footer. I tilled gardens with a 54"...

I need to purchase some parts

Thanks EddyJr. I emailed a dealer close to me and we'll see what happens.

    My first new tractor....

1985 B7200 HST. Worked the dicken's out of it and it rarely let me down. A friend heard it was for sale and came right over and bought it.

    q/a plate

I'm on the same quest. I want to rig up a front snow plow blade. I found some on E-bay around $100 shipped,5/16 or 3/8 steel, look good to me. The way the price for steel is I'll probably buy some ready made rather than fabricating them myself.

I need to purchase some parts

Can anyone tell me where to call or maybe online I can purchase parts in Canada and get them shipped to the states? I bought an RCR60CA rear finish mower and my dealer says it's Canadian and I can only get parts for it there. He showed me the blades for an RCR 60 American model and they are...

    Engine oil increasing

Hi, You only have 3 choices. Fuel, will be thin and smell like fuel, coolant, maybe thin and smell sweet, or the likely culprit, hydraulic fluid from the engine mounted pump. Good luck with replacing the seal. It's easy to do on my old B7200. A bit tight to work on but do able. I replaced the...

    My first new tractor....

I,ve owned a Kubota for over 17 years, but never a new one. Until now, L3800 HST with QA loader and bucket, loaded R4's, 1.2 hours:)
