I’d get a thumb for the backhoe and a ripper from bxspanded In my option the ripper doubled my backhoes power You can dig stumps you would never get out other wise watch some you tube videos It’s a lot of work and money but a grapple on the loader bucket would be awesome

I went with two weld on hooks on the sides and a pad eye I the center Got every thing from kens Went with weld on just because I like the look better Wish I knew how to post pics

Put the new ripper on today and have to say it’s amazing Tried digging up a stump with the backhoe bucket could not get it went at it with the ripper night and day difference got the stump out in no time at all Have to say it’s totally worth it Only problem is now I want the quick change...

Just a pipe dream but what if the thumb was replaced with a U shaped cutter that the ripper tooth would fit between and act like a shear Or better yet the modified thumb was hydraulic

Was able to remove the cap on the bottom of the valve that was causing my problem the spring was cocked was able to free it up now the back hoe does not creep was a quick fix I got lucky

When I run my backhoe it always falls down I had the cylinder rebuilt and it still does it I can bump the left lever it stops going Down I can use it but it’s a pain in the neck it won’t stay put in one place on it’s own this is at full rpm and low rpm Any ideas Thanks guys
