    Oil shelf life

I have a new MX6000 HSTC that is coming up on the 50 hr service. I have a couple of bottles of Shell T6 5W-40 that are unopened from when I did my 50 hour on my MX5400 a couple of years ago. Is that oil still good to use for my new 50 hour service?

    Pressure on Hydraulic lines

Leave the grapple all the way open when you disconnect the hoses. Then connect the hoses together allowing the grapple to close and the fluid in the lines to drain into the grapple cylinders. I have not had issues since I started doing this.

    Lifting a ton with MX5400?

I agree with the others that 2000lb is the MAX that you could unload and I also would not want to do it all the time. I just unloaded a super sack of pig feed that weighed 2117 lbs. It was on a pallet on my flatbed truck. My pallet forks weigh 300 lbs and it would curl the pallet but not pick it...

    MX5400 first regen

My tractor just had it's first regen yesterday with 26.1 hours on it. It took about 15 minutes running at pto speed to complete. Had a pretty strong burning smell and really kicked up a lot of dust from the exhaust.

    MX5400 ROPS armrest

I have had the tractor for a couple of weeks now and I love it. Thank you for the help with the armrest my dealer finally got them for me after I went back and forth with them on whether you could even get them or not.

    Mx5400 seat switch

How do you bypass it? On the L2501 it was a simple lever that you could zip tie down. I don't see anything like that on the MX?

    Mx5400 seat switch

I have had my new MX5400 for about two weeks now and I am loving every minute of it. I have found however that it is harder to see my SSQA then it was on my L2501. I was hoping someone new how to "trick" my seat safety switch so I could stand up when I am hooking up implements for my FEL?

    L2501 losing power

I had an issue with my L2501 similar to this. The problem was the brake return springs had come off underneath the tractor causing the brakes to drag. Check the 2 springs under you tractor that are attached to your brake pedals.

    Land Pride RCR1860 for L2501

I used an RCF2060 on My 2501 with no issues. I took it through some pretty heavy brush. It is surprising the torque the 2501 has.

Mx5400 too big for RCF 2060?

I traded in my L2501 and my new MX5400 will be delivered tomorrow. I have a Landpride RCF2060 that I used on my L2501. I know the MX will be wider than the mower and I might upgrade in the near future my question is will my MX be too powerful for the 2060? It does have a slip clutch on the mower.

    MX5400 ROPS armrest

Thank you. I am looking forward to it. It should be ready in a couple of weeks. The L2501 just didn't have enough lift and weight in its pants to do what I needed. It was a good tractor though. The MX just from the little I drove it still seemed to be very maneuverable which was one of my...

    MX5400 ROPS armrest

I just traded my L2501 in for a NEW MX5400 ROPS. It has the third function, two remotes, rear wheel weights, rimguard, rear work light kit and I got it with the Landpride SGC1060 grapple. I asked my dealer about getting armrests for the seat and they say they can't get them for the open station...

Woodland Mills Stump Grinder for L 2501 HST

I just got the WG24 yesterday and it works great. It has eaten everything I have thrown at it. My L2501 has no problem running it. I have to say that the L2501 just has a good sound to it when running at pto speed. It sounds a lot meatier than a 25 hp tractor. Like most people have said the only...

    L2501 HST stalls in high

The dealer said they had not had this happen before. They contacted Kubota who also seemed surprised by it. Kubota told them to replace and monitor. Dealer said if it happened again to let them know so they can report it to kubota again. The only thing they could really think of is that the...

    L2501 HST stalls in high

So I broke down and took the tractor to the dealer and after almost two weeks of waiting they got it fixed. What had happened was the two springs on the brake pedals had come off. The weight of the pedals and linkages was just enough to cause the brakes to drag. This wasn't too much of a problem...

    L2501 HST stalls in high

I only run it in high when I am on the road and I have no implements on it. I have done this many times and it was fine. BUT the last few times I have done this it has acted differently. I know that High is basically only a road gear and that's what I am driving it on when its acting up. I guess...

    L2501 HST stalls in high

New member here. Just joined 2 minutes ago. Sorry if this has been covered but I have an L2501 HST with about 48 hours on it. When I put it in high and press the pedal to the floor it acts like it is going to stall the tractor. This is on flat ground and it just recently started acting this way...
