LX2610 Manual Says No Tire Fluid When Operating the Loader

I've been running without filled tires or wheel weights over the more than 6 years and 1200 hours I've had my B2650HSD since new. All I need is my 60" box scraper on the 3-point as ballast, for as much as the front end loader hydraulics can lift. And as filled tires are recommended against by...

    Safety Ideas

In other words, measure your fully-loaded clearance beneath the trailer back frame and subtract an inch or so, and use that measure to build the compression blocks.

Looking For a 3 Point Hitch Attachment With a Trailering Ball

I would NOT use this hitch as a log puller illustrated in this screenshot of the sales photo. If the log ever caught on something while being pulled the tractor would upside down on your lap in a second or 2! Think about it. If the log is a few inches off the ground and hits a stump or any...

Looking For a 3 Point Hitch Attachment With a Trailering Ball

https://www.amazon.com/MaxxHaul-50039-Standard-Trailers-Equipment/dp/B07MWRW7PV $65 !!! 1/5 the price of your somewhat schmancier unit, and besides the 2x2 receiver being included in your unit, this one does just fine doing exactly what you'll need. I got one of these 4 years ago, has been put...

    Spec’ing a new tractor

I'm a SE Manitoban on 119 acres, lots of forest, 1000ft of driveway. Take a look at my profile equipment list, I couldn't be happier! And with the forestry jobs I take on with cutting our own firewood and fence posts in the "back 80 acres" I can say the B2650 ROPS is a wonderful, capable...

    3-point hitch basics

My B2650 operator's manual has a section that describes when to use the oval holes on the stabilizers to allow for play on certain listed implement types. The sway looseness needed depends on the implement, some need serious play. Listed are a few, like moldboard plow, disc plow, subsoiler...

    New or Used?

True, yet would not 10x the # available be offset by 10x the population shopping for those used machines? We've had Kubotas up here for decades, too!

    New or Used?

Good luck with finding a used (sub)compact K in good condition, without a finding new one competing on price. I looked for a couple years before giving up trying to find what I needed in used, as the new costs weren't much more.

Can installing a new battery with high cranking amps be good or bad?

Regardless, there's more CA & CCA there. I look at battery warranties carefully, too.

Can installing a new battery with high cranking amps be good or bad?

If the replacement battery is the correct type, voltage, size, and the terminals match position and type, then the more the merrier when it comes to cranking amps advertised, CA & CCA. It basically means there's more power available under any temperature range than the old one. New tech has made...

How to lower front end blower without joystick

^^^^^^THIS IS THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT WHEN SEEING THIS THREAD.^^^^ Sorry to shout, but protect yourself! Also, as there's going to be solid pressure backed into the hydraulics just from the weight on the lift cylinder, I would suggest a jack under the blower to at least take most of its...

    Parking Brake

Sounds like the parking brake actuator lever mechanism has become sticky or obstructed by debris, or one of is springs has become loose. Have you gone over the whole park brake system visually, while operating the locked pedals and locking lever? Have someone do that while looking underneath...

    Diesel oil additive

No, why mess around with a good thing when my Rotella T6 5W-40 contains all the ingredients for a smooth clean running engine in all weather conditions? I do add a bit of Sea Foam fuel treatment to my diesel as a stabilizer and deposit cleaner. SF has had a starkly noticeable positive effect on...

Trailer hitch - On the bucket or 3 Point?

I got one of these and haven't regretted it in the least. Not granite countertops, but a full load of green tamarack (the pics show part loads) isn't light, either. And rough trails (roads) for sure. You may want to look up some kind of 3-point chain or bar stop system to keep the 3-point firmly...

Struggling during the last snow storm.

Ya swapping is a bit of a pain, but the boxblade is a very capable sub when pushing, pulling, and moving lots of snow around. It does ice sheet rough-up with the scarifiers real nice, too.

Struggling during the last snow storm.

My B2650 open station with front-mount B2782B blower with BB1560 boxblade on the back LOVES the kind of storm you're struggling with. Heading out in a few minutes to have some more fun with it.
