    Rc72-38 MMM blades hitting/slipping

Thanks all. When measuring the blades I did notice unusual wear patterns on the end of two of them but the third was still flat. I think the worn spindle on the right blade seems to make the most sense. I've got a limited amount of time, so going to see if the local dealer has the parts I need...

    Rc72-38 MMM blades hitting/slipping

I don't know about the spindles being worn, does make sense as a possibility. I do know that the dealer did some work on the gear box before we bought it. I don't remember if they rebuilt it or just fixed a leak. If so, I'm guessing that over time as the play increased on the spindle(s) the...

    Rc72-38 MMM blades hitting/slipping

Just to satisfy curiosity, I measured the old blades and both outer new blades, can't reach the middle without dropping the deck again, and they measured the same at 24.5".

    Rc72-38 MMM blades hitting/slipping

Makes sense, a belt is always going to have the potential to slip. I got part #70000-25002 from Messicks which their parts diagram says replaces part #76553-34330 for the Rc72-38 deck. I can only see paint scuffing on just the ends of the two blades so I would assume that only the ends are...

    Rc72-38 MMM blades hitting/slipping

Just changed blades on my Rc72, used new bolts and cup washers, tightened to specified torque. Thought I had lined them up to not make contact. When I started it up the right blade, by the chute, and the middle blade ends hit each other. I loosened the right blade adjusted the timing so the ends...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally got her moved to our Michigan property. Took the advice given here and did the transport in two packages. Both vehicles are stuck here in about a foot of icy slop. After a 9 hour drive, took another 2.5 hours to clear a path to the barn. The upside is I got to spend that 2.5 hours on...

Is a 3rd function worth the expense?

Blender, let us know how that install goes. I'm sure several of us will be interested to hear about it. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Reasonably priced Quick Attach (SSQA) option for many Kubota's

So it sounds like the L2230 will fit my LA513 FEL but I'll need to relocate the bucket stops or risk bending the dump cylinders, is that correct? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Reasonably priced Quick Attach (SSQA) option for many Kubota's

Does anyone have any experience with the SSQA setup from ATI-corporation? http://www.ati-corporation.com/ They quoted me MSRP of $832.00 for the adapter and $138.00 for the bucket plate. They dont do direct sales, have to buy from a dealer. Thanks for any info. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Dayum, life really is like a toilet paper roll

Starting to get a little long in the tooth myself. While I dont like how fast the birthdays come around anymore, I try to always remember something my granddad said when I was just a pup. No one likes getting older but there's only one other alternative, and that's not a better option... Sent...

    Buying Trailer Ramps

Thanks for all the help and advice guys. I did finally find the weight rating plate on it, it had been painted over very heavily making it almost impossible to see. As suspected, 5000 lbs load limit. I think the issue with the axles being forward is an optical illusion in the picture. When I...

    Buying Trailer Ramps

Well, this may turn out to be a lesson learned, hope it's not an expensive one. I live on an active military installation so cant store the trailer at my house, took me a couple days to get to where its stored and double check how many lugs the wheels have. It has a 2" ball 2 axles Brakes on...

    Buying Trailer Ramps

Yep, it seemed that everything I was finding was expensive, especially since I only paid $1k for the trailer, really didnt want to pay half that in ramps... Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Buying Trailer Ramps

Only had the tractor a couple months, dealer said it probably weighs around 5,500 lbs. WWF in the rears. So I'm thinking each ramp should be rated for half that, am I right? I didnt see anything at Harbor Freight rated for that much when I looked a couple weeks ago, but I may have missed it...

    Buying Trailer Ramps

Hi all. Bought a trailer a couple weeks ago, working on re-wiring it now. Have a L3430 FEL and MMM. Any suggestions on where and what ramps to buy ramps for it would be appreciated. Pic of the back of the trailer below. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
