    Tractor is a blessing

I got a good one too. Similar situation. She was afraid of the steep slopes but did it anyway. Blessed with a Kubota and a soul mate.

    New here and I'm embarrassed

My 2230 had a black knob near the steering column that when you push down on it popped the hood up. Hope this helps.

    BX2380 & tires

You may want to think about a zero turn instead. Love my BX but it does do some damage on turns even with turf tires.

Buying my first Kubota - education needed!

Sorry. I read the post above and realized that I have turf tires not R4's. My dealer told me not only are they better on grass but also in snow.

Buying my first Kubota - education needed!

I bought the same combination you are considering. I did add the wheel weights. Not a fan of filled tires. I plow my driveway up hill with a back blade no problem. No chains needed.

    BX HST screen cleaning

These screens are pretty hardy. Don’t know why you would need a new one. I sprayed mine off with brake clean and left it dry. Looked like new. I didn’t use any plug though. If you check it when your changing out the HST fluid only a little more comes out when you pull it. I just caught it in a...

BX25D slow speed and lack of HST power

Might sound crazy but I read on another thread where the rear rims were spinning inside the tire. His tires were filled with beet juice.

    BX2380 50 Hour, Lessons Learned

Agreed and you can save about half. 50 hour service is around $400.00 give or take. I paid around $200.00 for all filters and fluids. That was air filter, two fuel filters, oil filter and HST filter and fluids to change everything including front axle and MMM gearbox. Have a gallon of HST fluid...

    BX2380 50 Hour, Lessons Learned

Thanks Kevin. Just did my 50 hour service as well. I used 80w 90w in the front axle at my dealers suggestion. I also found all lug nuts loose and had to torque to spec. My HST screen was clear but for a few metal flecks near the machined end. I did not change the fuel filter yet but I am only at...

Cold morning diesel gelling up I guess...

When I delivered fuel for a living we always put #1 fuel (kerosene) in outside tanks in winter because it doesn't gel. You could call your Kubota dealer and ask it it would be okay to use kerosene. Oil burners burn much cleaner with #1 but I don't know if its okay for a diesel.

Loader Arm / Retaining Rings coming off

Mine does not have any washers between the clip and the arm. Tilting the bucket all the way down is exactly what they say we should do before dropping the legs. I know it’s a pain but sounds like your dealer should make it right for you. You could buy a small car for what they charge so it...

Is that the quick detach bucket? Looks different then mine. Jealous.:)

Loader Arm / Retaining Rings coming off

Just went out and looked at mine and the arms aren’t even against the clips. If they don’t have an answer for you. I think I would drill a hole and use a washer and cotter pin but should be the dealers problem and not yours.

    Knob removal?

Thanks to all. These are the knobs I was talking about. The book says you have to remove the fender to adjust the neutral return spring. I was able to do it from underneath so I’m okay for now. Thanks again!

    HST creeping forward

There is a procedure for adjusting creep in the WSM. At least for the BX that is. You have to jack up the rear and pull the right rear wheel. There is a Y shaped piece of metal on the side of the HST with a crescent slot and a bolt in the slot. You need to loosen that bolt and slid the metal Y...
