    Filthy tractors versus clean ones

Love getting mine dirty, and love cleaning it up. I was so in love with my little Bx when I first got it home, that I even waxed it. Haven't done it since, but someday, I just might.

    hard To turn knobs.

The height and the lowering speed knob were stuck on my Bx2670 I just got. Once I got them moving they work fine now, but as mentioned the deck has to be in the fully raised position for the height knob. In fact, iirc, you need to continue to raise the deck until the 3PH is all the way up and...

    Rubber deflector on Woods RCC42

Yeah. I’m just surprised it wore as much as it did after only two hours of use.

    Rubber deflector on Woods RCC42

I just bought a slightly used RCC42 42" rotary cutter that I plan on using in the wooded parts of my property with my Bx. Cleaned everything up and replaced the oil in the gear box. The rubber deflector on the front end of the unit was pretty worn so I replaced it. I used the mower for about...

    Question about 3PH height

SRG. Thanks for the picture. It definitely helps. My 2670 does not have this feature. The only adjustment I can see is the right lifting rod. I think replacing the left one with a turnbuckle will be the easiest solution. I'm guessing I could get another 2 or 3 inches lower with two...

    Question about 3PH height

Any comments about the height of my 3PH? Mine is about 10" off the ground when all the way down. Seems too high to get up under some implements. Maybe that's why everyone keeps their implements up on wood pallets?

    Question about 3PH height

Good to know, and makes sense. Is there a problem carrying ballast on the 3PH?

    Question about 3PH height

I'm new to tractors in general, so I apologize if this is a stupid question. How low should the 3PH go? I recently got a Bx2670 and recently bought a Quick Hitch for it. I plan on getting a rotary cutter soon. For now, I had planned using it with a Heavy Hitch receiver hitch to tow stuff...

Advice on mulch kit for Bx MMM. Also a bit of GR vs Bx.

Hello all, Been a member for a while and read a lot, but haven't posted much (at all?). A little background: We recently "downsized" to a larger house and more land. We have about 4 acres but much of it is wooded. I convinced the Wifey that we needed an good mower and ended up with a GR...

What kind of chainsaw you have?

Husqvarna Rancher 460. Probably bigger than I need on my 4 acres but nice chainsaw.
