It has happened a couple of times. If I turn the tractor off while on a hill in gear it gets stuck in gear. The shuttle shift gets very difficult to move and I don't want to break anything. Snapped the fan belt 3 miles from home. Nursed it home at 1200rpm. Pretty close to the red when I got there. PITA fitting new belt, which, of course, was slightly small. Now I'm missing the 2 idiot lights on the left

Just to add: If the seals in the rams allow your bucket to drop you will need an additional prop under the front crossmember where it bolts to the tractor. Otherwise it will lower to the ground over time and be a little awkward for re-attaching. I just use a piece of wood

At what distance does it make more sense to carry 5/6 logs (armful) to the trailer as opposed to throwing two at a time for the full distance?

The tab shown in the pic pushes straight in towards the center. Taking the cover off is easy enough, getting it back on can be a bit of a fiddle. There should be a grease zerk on that collar to lube the plastic bearing where it spins on the shaft
