    I have a B6000 with the K44 mower which uses a lot of the same parts as the K48. Note that it makes a difference whether you are talking about the center spindle or one of the outboard spindles. Seals, bearings and other components are available from Kubota at not too unreasonable a price...

    B6000 front end issues

    There are sources for Kubota parts on-line if you don't have a local dealer: https://parts.mbtractor.com/ https://www.colemanequip.com/parts/details/KubotaParts/SOCKET/66591-55620/ I your case, you may just want to look for somebody parting out a B6000 and get the whole front axle.

    Landscape Rake..what a pain in the...

    Landscape rakes really aren't for raking leaves/debris. They are for leveling out earth materials and maybe separating big stones. It's easier to level earth materials with a landscape rake than with a scraper blade or box blade.

    Back in the day they used to bale hay with Ford 9Ns and Ferguson TO30s. The balers were self powered (typically Wisconsin engine as mentioned above). A B7000 could maybe pull a self powered bailer on reasonably level ground as long as you were just dropping bales on the ground - i.e. no wagon...

    They are all the way across the country for you, but this is the best I've found - they have the part diagrams, part numbers and prices on line and they ship very quickly. Forum won't let me post a link, so google "MBtractor".
