    M9540 ac

Hopefully someone can give some advice. I have a new compressor / system etc. It calls for 3.7 ounces of PAG 46. When we load it into the suction side port hole - it barely takes a couple of ounces. We are turning it over and working it in. Do we need to install the compressor and then add...

    Kubota M9540 AC

I am replacing the AC System on a Kubota M9540. Everything front to back is coming out. Can anyone tell me the PAG oil amounts / freon fill / and desired operating pressures I am looking for? Anything I should look out for or tips??? Should be straight forward but hearing from someone who...

    M9540 ac

it is not fixed yet! I am sure that one of my guys added freon in the field and overcharged and introduced air into system. I evacuated the system with a vacuum pump and checked for leaks. None noticed. The systems holds 1.87 to 2 lbs of R134. I charged it with about 20oz and pressures are...

    M9540 ac

UPDATED VALIES We operated the system @ 1800 rpm engine speed. Ac compressor stays engaged. Low side is 45~50 psi and high side settled at 330 psi. Air vent temp is hovering around 63 degrees.

    M9540 ac

Ok - I can use some help! AC evaporator was plugged due to all of the leaks in the intake ductwork. Cleaned it and sealed everything with high-tech AC tape. Now it blows like new. Decided to hook up gauges since there is airflow. We are now getting 60 psi on low and 290 on high. 92 degree...

    9540 AC question!

Hate to ask a stupid question - but I cant stop myself. Regarding the M9540 - How do I identify the suction line fitting on the AC and will a standard Auto Parts recharge kit work? Ive done it on my truck but dont want to blow anything up on the tractor. Thanks.

    Tractor model advice

Bulldog Thanks for your reply. I think you are on target regarding the high tech end of the tractors. We operate some large HP tractors in our rice fields with the dial up trans / auto shift etc. - and when a sensor goes it is a real problem. There are not too many Ag units out there that...

    Tractor model advice

I am looking to add on a Kubota M110GX. I think it is built more for the row crop guys but the cab changes and trans upgrade makes it interesting. If you compare this to the Deere 6130D (not a real match to the Kubota but it is on my short list) the real difference is the transmission. The...

    M110GX buying info

Ed, Thanks for the info. It looks good and we do need the extra weight on the ground. It is priced 14k higher than the M9960 and only 4 grand ahead of the M100 but I think it is worth to stretch into the M110GX I don't know anyone who is pushing this model in the dirt for a reference and I...

    M110GX buying info

I am looking hard at the m110GX with e 24 speed trans. We are working the M9540s which are fine but a bit too light for all of our work. The 110 is double in weight and comes with upgraded transmission. Any operator experience with this machine out there? Fuel economy - durability regarding...

    M9540 Hydraulic System

System problems and I can use some ideas of where to start looking. New quality oil with new filters and it is filled. No leaks and less than 1000 hours. If the 3 point is lifted to full height the FEL will not operate. Also when using a Vermeer hydraulic driven rake - it will not run at...

    Front Loader Operation

I guess it could be the fluids - but I was wondering if the problems would be across the loader cycle directions .... The bucket dump or breakout functions are fast and strong. I hate to dump the trans fluid again but it might be worth trying. thanks for the advice

    Front Loader Operation

I have a loader on a M9540 that is not working like it should. When trying to lift the loader - it has slowed dramatically and will only lift out if you speed the pump / engine. Side to side works well. The only recent changes to the tractor - we changed transmission oil and filters but did...
