Seeking advice for ground prep (grass seed planting)

I plan to rent the tool. I was thinking the Harley rake would do a nice job, but I wanted to get some input. This is not a primary lawn, but I do want the $1000 of seed/penn mulch to be effective, so spending a little more money to prep the soil properly is a better option than wasting the...

Seeking advice for ground prep (grass seed planting)

I recently removed several trees from an area (about 1/3 acre) on my property which left it bumpy with lots of divots and depressions. I have a landscape rake and have used it to remove the top layer of grass/weeds and smooth out some of the areas needing attention, but the soil is hard-packed...

Occasionally engine stalls when depressing foot pedal in forward or in reverse

I wanted to share that I found a similar behavior recently on my 2017 L3901 with a different cause. I confirmed the seat switch was good by doing the check on continuity between pins A and C when fully depressed. It checked good. Then I jumped the harness between pins A and C on the tractor...

L3901 - Oil on battery tray - from where???

This weekend I removed the battery and found the lower hose clamp to be very loose. The hose had oil on the bottom so I assumed that was the source of my leak. I tightened the lower clamp and the upper clamp and cleaned the area really well. Hopefully it will stay dry. Sent from my iPhone...

L3901 - Oil on battery tray - from where???

Thank you wgator! I can see the hose clamps behind the battery. Exact same setup as described. At this point I believe that could very well be the culprit! Hopefully I can get to it this weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

L3901 - Oil on battery tray - from where???

I have an L3901 with 150 hours and notice a few drops of oil on the garage floor. After looking closer, I found oil on the battery tray. I noticed there are 2 oil coolers there. Has anyone had a leak from an oil cooler? The oil is light colored so I believe it is hyd fluid. I haven’t...

I was curious of what the standard bucket on my new L3901 weighs and couldn’t seem to find it online, so I called Kubota customer support and after some searching, she told me it weighed 265 lbs. This is the reference number I have been using for my front end implements. Hope this helps...
