Landpride fixed Bar Box Scraper (BB1260)

I just went out and looked.mine is a BB1560. Older and had alot of pounding. I double checked my LP order and I ordered the 1560 straps. Once the parts get here I'll get more steel and beef that thing up a bit. I think Foobert is on the right track. Mine is rated for 17-40 so it should handle...

Landpride fixed Bar Box Scraper (BB1260)

I just got off the phone with my dealer. They said LP shipped my upper straps yesterday and they'll be here next week. I was tearing up hard pack ice/snow with the rippers and the whole series of upper straps bent just like the OP's. I looked at this post and chuckled. Been there .. just done...

Best way to grease zerk fittings

I've been remiss in greasing things during the winter here in Alaska. I warm the grease gun indoors then run out and hit as many zircs as I can. Some will not take grease ( probably frozen) . This week we'll see 40's. Yeah spring is here. Time for some serious spring maintenance. I've found a...

Pros and Cons of portable shelters for K tractors?

It sounds like the ones with the hip or steep pitch roofs did the trick. Home Depot always seems to sell the cheapest buggers available. As I drive around I see collapsed one every spring. For folks with permit issues down South.., I can feel your frustrations.

    Zirc fitting size

This thing does that every couple post. I broke off a zirc on a front ball joint. Have to ez out what's left and then get new one to screw in. What size does Kubota use?

Pros and Cons of portable shelters for K tractors?

Don't use them where it snows. They do not hold snow and collapse on your machine during an overnight snow (ask me how I know) . Down South where you get little or no snow they're probably fine.

    Zirc fitting size

I was going to service my 3901 this afternoon before doing some snow removal. Definitely requires warming up the grease gun. I noticed on one of my front

    L2501 issue

I just ran into something similar with my 3901. I took off the water seperator bowl and that screen and warmed it up and cleaned up (note to self shut of the fuel valve next time)... That helped a little. I ended up changing the main fuel filter and that fixed it. Ice crystals in the fuel...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

And I'd made the mistake of taking off the snowblower. Mother Nature got even. Supposed to be below zero this week. Dang this winter is just hanging on. Sure hoping for it to warm up. Envy you folks down South about now.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Life in North Pole AK. We got 18" if new heavy wet snow. Went down the driveway snowblowing. Got buried. Thank goodness for a come along and a not too distant tree. I hate stuck equipment.

    I can't find spare parts

Check with places that specializes in gears and bearings. If you can find numbers on your original gear. I did that with my JD 3005. Found the front axle gears cross referenced to a Subaru ( much less $$ than ordering JD) and bearings crossed over to Honda Accord. Many Japanese Company's will...

    Land pride box blade parts.

One of the bolts on top of my box blade broke. I was pushed up into a pile of snow dumping the FEL. I lifted the box blade to dump it's conten

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had pulled off the snowblower and flipped the bird at Mother Nature. She's a mean old B$$$$ and got even. We woke up to 8" of new snow overnight. NWS put out a winter storm warning for tommorow for additional 9-13". Dang. Mother Nature. You win. I'll put the snowblower back on the tractor...

    Box blade or rear blade?

I find that my box blade is so much handier. I sold the rear blade since it wasn't being used. I combine the box blade and FEL. I use the FEL at about 3" off the ground and push snow while the box is all the way down. Each pass I'm pushing and pulling snow. Just before I get to where I'm moving...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

It's finally warming a bit. I thumbed my nose and mother nature. I'm tired of damned winter. So I really tempted fate and took the snowblower off. I put the box blade on and dropped the rippers. I went to the main road and popped up all the hardpack snow. Now the beginning of the Lane can heat...
