First real farming with the new tractor

He is pulling a mower conditioner in that pic. With decent weather we usually bale on the third day sometimes sooner if weather is perfect. The ocean is less than a mile away which means we can get alot of evening dew and fog. The Tedders are very helpful, speeds things up by days if the...

How many hours between regens on your L4701

Did it ever improve with highway fuel? I know some local gas stations will sell low sulfur diesel (500ppm) vs ULSD (15ppm)at the off road pump even though they aren't supposed to be.

First real farming with the new tractor

It was a short haying window with all of the rain this season but we finished up before the rain came. Almost 70 acers and just over 5000 bales. I know there is a green tractor in the photo but they can't all be orange. It was a nice break from my other job of commercial fishing!

    Grapple Size M7060

Im sure someone else can speak up on this that knows more than I do but my understanding is that a diverter valve will use the hydraulic flow from your bucket curl to operate the grapple. Meaning that when the diverter valve is active you will not be able to curl your bucket. And when inactive...

    Grapple Size M7060

Well Ortimber I just got my new anbo grapples I went with the 6 foot, and they are very nice. The tractor handles them very well and would do even better if I hooked up the box blade.

Need advice on tractor size 130 acres

Have had a M7060 for about 6 months now and am really happy with it. I have 54 acers with a runway and some pasture area I am reclaiming from the trees. Something to think about is the weight of a set of grapples and how much of your useful load they will take up when using them. I quite...

    New to me Rusty Iron

Been working on a couple of acers for a pasture of sorts. Lots of roots but they are starting to break up. ANBO grapples should be in Friday I hope. Not sure what to plant any ideas? Soils are marginal at best, a little bit of top soil with silty loam just beneath.

Newbie - Kubota cold start performance

I have an oil pan heater and a block heater on my M7060. The pan heater is a magnetic one the I can remove. You can get the block nice and warm which is very good, however if the oil is not warm and by warm I mean it dosent have to be a hundred degrees. 30 or 40 degrees is warm if the ambient...

Just bought the M7060 with cab, the cab is worth every penny and I have only had the tractor 2 days! It is also 20 below right now. As far as DPF I deal with them at my job every day on various types of heavy equipment and never had any problems. It is a fact of life with new equipment that...
