I've had the WSM for my B2650 for a while now. I think I got it off the ManualsLib site... I couldn't find a WSM for my mower deck (RCK60-30BA) so I'll keep hunting for one online somewhere.
Oh, Messicks; I have one not too far from me. I've used their site for parts before. I was worried you had found some official Kubota page that I had not yet stumbled upon.
I'll have a look at the lever adjustment you messed with. I'd actually like to tighten the whole system up a bit. It...
I found and took a look at parts 30, 40 & 50 in your diagram. (Where is this online parts finder you speak of?) I saw no evidence of excessive play or loosening. As with the other parts, it too has dirt on it and looks like it hasn't moved since it was installed.
Yes, I adjusted #070 and #080 to fix my issue. I guess I'll have to do that now and then. As I said, I had never touched them before and they had enough dirt on them to make me believe they had not moved at any point recently.
Think I fixed it...
I adjusted the threaded part noted in the one of photos; I'm not sure what it's called. What has got me puzzled is I've never adjusted them before. The lock-nut was so tight, I was certain I was trying to turn it the wrong way so, I know it wasn't loose and therefore the...
That is normal. Those links have slots in them and they have pins (no bolts there); I think they are there to allow the deck to have a little slop while it's bouncing up and down underneath.
I've attached four photos. I notated them so look for that in the photos. As I mentioned before, the lift-arms on the 3-point go all the way up so I don't think it's a lack of fluid. However, just for grins, I've added some (Two of the typical red solo cups were what I used for my precise...
It's not that it doesn't move as much as I'd like per se`... You should be able to top the deck out to where you can put two pins through it and the frame (just underneath the cockpit's deck) and lock it in the topped-out position. The deck never even comes close to that point. As of a couple...
As the title states, I have a B2650 with a mid-mount mower deck (model RCK60) that won't raise very well. It comes up a couple inches but will not top out like it used to. I looked underneath, hoping to find something stuck in the linkage like a rock or stick but there doesn't seem to be...
Yeah, it looks like it's an adjustment issue. I used the FEL for an hour or so over the weekend and it never gave me any trouble - except when I had the 3-point hitch all the way against the stop. I'll need to have a look at the WSM to see where the adjustment is.
Nothing has been touched as far as I know. I'm the only one on the property that ever messes with things like that; I've only taken the FEL off a couple of times and I never messed with any hydraulic lines other than the color-coded ones you're supposed to disconnect with the removal of the FEL.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by in a bind but I took a guess... I just started up the tractor and the FEL functioned as it should. The 3-point (and mid-mount mower deck) was in the relaxed position. I lifted the 3-point to the top and tried the FEL. It crawled... I dropped the...
I've had this issue for a few months, now. I'm trying to figure out some sort of pattern. As near as I can tell, there isn't one. Long story short, the FEL can be extremely slow to raise or lower. When I mean slow, I mean 1/4 the speed of normal operation. It seems to be worse after it has...
Yeah, I cut a piece off and took it to Tractor Supply - which is all I have around here that comes close to selling stuff for farm equipment. Well, that was a waste of time. I had to head to the nearest auto parts store and they were clueless whether or not the lines they sold would work for...
I finally got a little time to take the hood off and get back in there for a better look. That little SOB got both lines! One got the worst of it but I'll end up replacing both lines.
Anyone know what size these lines normally are? It looks like the ID is about 1/8" or so.
Anyone know if...
We use mothballs in our cabin but the mice keep coming. I'll try your idea as well. However I won't be leaving my hood open as my tractor isn't barn-kept; I tarp it when it's not in use. :(
Here's a funny one for y'all... Not so funny for me but, you know what I mean.
I had been using my B2650 - regularly - without issue since I bought it in Fall of 2015. I parked it about two weeks ago and it sat there until yesterday. Upon using it, I smelled diesel. I figured I had spilled...
That's pretty much what I was thinking; I just wanted to make sure.
So, for my purposes, this is what I've gathered:
Don't add suitcase weights to the front end.
Keep the FEL installed and use it as controllable ballast when using rear implements.
