    Electric quit

I tried the system voltage drop test and voltage dropped from 12.71 to 12.56 with the load tester. These readings were with the black lead hooked to the negative terminal. When I ground the black lead to the frame I get 2 or more volt drop in both sides. Additionally the voltage at all the...

    Electric quit

Cleaned off the fuse area with contact cleaner. I did notice that the fuse terminal 2nd from bottom had 11 volts instead of 12+. Trying to figure what each fuse is to.

    Electric quit

A week or so ago with the great help from folks on the forum I replaced the copper washers to fix an injector leak on my L295DT. I was running the starter several times about 10 to 15 seconds at a time to prime the system. The starter was turning over reasonably well. Then on the 4th try the...

    L295DT injector leak

Thanks for the information. My return lines are rubber hose but there is a nut with a nozzle holding them. That will make it easier. Will finish up on this next week. The injectors seemed to work great other than a slight leak. Does the dealer check them or do I have to send them off...

    L295DT injector leak

Have slight leak around injector. Looks like the little copper ring/washer. It looks simple fix just unscrew injector and replace copper washer. Is there anything I am missing? (I have had simple jobs go sideways fast). Will probably do all 3. Thanks for any heads up. Randy

    bucket hydraulic cylinder

Already took it to local hydraulic shop. They listed a number of things that were wrong with it. Told me it would be cheaper to look for a new one.

    bucket hydraulic cylinder

I have an old L295DT with a loader. I think the loader is a model 1200 and the cylinder is a part number 4361. Took the cylinder in to repack. they said it was pretty much shot. So Im looking for an aftermarket cylinder. Messicks did not have one. Anyone know of a source.

    crankcase plug

I just tapped it out and put a bolt with a nylon washer (like oil drain plug) in the hole. Used metric bolt just to be consistent. So far no leaks.

    L295DT no hydraulics

Got it. It just took much longer for the fluid to reach the pump. I let it idle for 2-3 minutes and warmed up tractor then no hydraulics. I went back and warmed it up again and this time the hydraulics kicked in. Yahoo.

    L295DT no hydraulics

Just got my crankcase plugs installed. Thanks to wolfman for the previous help. In order to get a tap in straight for the crankcase plug I removed the hydraulic filter. While at it I changed to hydraulic fluid as it previously had 90w gear oil per the owners manual. Cleaned the filter and...

    crankcase plug

I had a crankcase plug fly out of my L295DT that is right under the hydraulic filter. Oils shot all over. Owners manual calls for part number 34150-2758-1. The dealer crossed this to a 34150-27580. This plug looks correct except it is too big to go in. It is about 3/8 diameter. I need a...
