I have had zero luck finding a QUALITY tow behind spreader. Ive tried 3now and all were scrap. Two of them didnt even last a single use. I wish i would of just spent the 700 on a land pride 3point spreader. I wasted 700 between the 3junk ones.

Kinda sorta. I made a really nice rolling loader stand for my old bx 2370. Long story short, im using it for my 2650. You have to be real careful or it doesn’t work so good lol. But yes, i did not have the bucket in the stand correctly and the loader legs bent real bad.

Id just bend them back and call it a day. Ive bent mine last yr all to heck trying to hurry up in a rain storm and just bend them straight in my press. Been fine ever since. If your that worried about it get some angle iron and re enforce them.

I can tell you this, our skid steer weighs 7800lbs and i use a 20ft 14k gvw trailer and tow it on a regular bases. The trailer is a perfect match for that weight. With that said, i would NOT tow that with a f150. My 2016 f-250 does not like to pull that skid steer around unless i have the tongue...

Id be extremely cautious with using straps like that in the picture above. Not a good idea at all. Those straps can/will wear through in no time laying against the bucket/box blade like that.

So basically you have 2.5 acres of gravel roads to maintain? If thats the case id be looking into a skid steer. I know they are tons more money, but if your main reason for a piece of equipment is to maintain that much stone, a tractor imo is not the best option.
