Can anyone explain why Kubota went to the off-center (offset) front wheel base on the ZD mowers. (i.e. - the right front wheel is outside the right rear tire and the left front tire is inside the left rear tire -- versus being in line with the rear tires.) Thanks.

The ZD25 mower has the seat safety switch built into the bottom cushion and is not an accessible replaceable part (per Kubota dealers I have contacted). You must buy the entire bottom cushion which costs more than $250. I have researched after market seat manufacturers and none have the cushion...
