I'd say that's a great donor machine. I think you'd get too deep spending into bringing it back to life. Unfortunately the hacked and damaged parts are scrap, but it has the loader and is a great source of parts for other 100 models out there, which are becoming harder to find.

I believe poly just replaces the steel blade. Rubber would probably be a better material for what you're doing so it can flex around obstacles. The rubber tends to be the shortest lasting though from what I've read. But it will also act like a squeegee. Or What about trying some PVC pipe...

Don't go R4 unless the tractor is being used to work job sites where it's being operated on hard pack. The performance is lack luster and probably not what you'd be hoping for

It comes down to if your property is more hill or more flat. If it's all hill I'd say stick with 60 for safety and power. The 2650 will have no problem moving either mower but the heavier mower will have a greater effect on balance naturally just due to weight. Also if all hill it's that much...

Bx is a great sub compact. But you're limiting yourself / under utilizing the machine if you don't get a front end loader and leave it as a mower / carryall. You'll either find that with a fel you can accomplish more projects around the house, or at the very least you'll be working your back less.
