2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

Nice that would be a good way to earn some extra cash. How do you move 20 inches of snow with only a rear blade? Do you backup and push it.... seems like going over it first would pack it down and get under the tractors frame.

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

I have R4 tires loaded. I tired plowing only half the snow but even that was to much once it built up in front of you. I would back up and try to bust through it but i could only move it a foot or two before the wheels would spin again. If i tired to move even less snow with the plow (having...

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

I did try to plow multiple times the wind filled it right back in and the hardest snow was around 2-7 am. Storm lasted 2 days so no way to plow it every few hours. I'm starting to think the bucket would make a better plow than the snow blade itself. Like i said i lifted up the snow blade just...

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

This was my first snow with my B2650 so it was a learning experience. I tired with the blade half way up but still could not push it. If you go up to high the snow would go under the tractor and get you stuck. Most people i see use a front loader and a rear blade. A rear snow blower might be...

2-3 ft of snow to much for blade

Now that the snow is over and it took me 8 hours to clear my driveway that still needs a 4x4 to get in and out. I left snow on the road to keep my gravel. I had to switch between the front plow and bucket to get through my road. Once the plow had so much snow in front of it and could push no...

    FEL with blade snow removal

Found some locally. Already have a inch or two of snow. I can already tell that traction is going to be a issue. That 72" front plow is heavy. My rear tires are loaded and the ground is frozen. I should have got a ballast box to offset the front blade.

    FEL with blade snow removal

Where can i buy sled type shoes? The ones posted are for a bucket. Now they are calling for 20+ inches of snow. I should have bought a blower for that much snow. Ground does freeze at night but once the sun comes up it thaws out and re-freezes at night.

    FEL with blade snow removal

So is the dealer wrong about just letting the blade float? Should i not even use the snow blades shoes? It sounds like i would be better off just keep it a inch or two off the ground but the trouble is my road has hills so i would have to adjust it constantly and it's really hard to judge how...

    FEL with blade snow removal

I bought a QA kubota front blade with my B2650. They are calling for 12" of snow this week. My driveway is un-even and it's gravel i was told by the dealer to let it float and i would be fine. I have tried the float position with no snow on my driveway in reverse and it still seems to dig into...

60 inch mmm storage and service

Cool idea i guess you host it up close to the wall then strap it to the wall? what gets me is the two wheels in the middle of the mower deck in the back do not swivel. I need like a ultra low swivel board. Can anyone tell me what the thing circled is for? I thought it might be to hold the...

60 inch mmm storage and service

I have seen a few dollys made to store a mmm vertically but how do you guys get them onto the dollys by yourself? My 60" mmm weighs almost 400 pounds! I can use my FEL with some straps to lift it and move it around but it is not very stable. I have no hooks on my bucket. I'm impressed with the...
