    Intellipanel removal on L47

They just had a sale, $300 off the cutter and $200 off the hydraulics/switches.

Kubota L4701 150 hours rear end stripped gear popping noise. NOW WITH VIDEO

No, but having rebuilt automatic transmissions for 25 plus years, I had already figured that out.

    Intellipanel removal on L47

That makes sense. Why should Kubota use a $2 word when a $200 word will do. LOL.

    Intellipanel removal on L47

I appreciate the help. I had no idea that Kubota called the instrument cluster on anything but the L47 an intellipanel. My intellipanel mounts to the right of the operators seat, just inside of the fender, not in front where the steering wheel is. The L47TLB is different than other L series...

    Intellipanel removal on L47

There aren't any plugged holes on the intellipanel . Due to the curved surfaces, there is precious little room to mount the Laneshark control at all on the tractor. https://shop.lanesharkusa.com/products/lane-shark-switch-box It mounts with two 1/4-20 screws on either side of the control...

    Intellipanel removal on L47

My Laneshark finally arrived and now I have to mount the actuation switch. The only place that is available is on the plastic intellipanel that is on the right side of the operators seat, immediately behind the joystick. Does anyone know any secrets to removing or at least moving the...

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

I use Amsoil signature 0W-20 in my Tacoma. Oil and filter changes every 6K. Oil wears out no matter what. Like you, I don't buy into the extended change intervals.

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

Things finally slowed down around here and I signed on to see what was new and to ask a few questions. I run it in my zero turn Husqvarna mower with a 26 hp Kawasaki air cooled engine. It has a better additive and detergent package and a higher TBN than gasoline engine oil. Seems Kawasaki...

FYI: Be mindful of advice given!

There is a Mahindra dealer about ten miles from where I sit. He had one of his larger 4wd tractors on his lot that was broken in half where I would assume the end of the transmission and the beginning of the rear axle began (stick shift unit). I looked at the casting and while it appeared very...

Kubota L4701 150 hours rear end stripped gear popping noise. NOW WITH VIDEO

I contacted Messicks in Mount Joy, Pa and spoke to one of their mechanics. He told me off the record that the parking brake problem we have is common to Kubota HST tractors, as there isn't a set of gears that are mechanically tied to the engine to prevent movement when the engine is not...

SSQA spring adjustment on my L47

That is what I assumed. Thank you.

SSQA spring adjustment on my L47

I've noticed that the two springs on my SSQA are adjusted to a different amount of preload. I looked in my owners manual and could find no spec for the spring preload as in turns down after spring contact or spring overall length when not engaged. Does such a specification exist?

Kubota L4701 150 hours rear end stripped gear popping noise. NOW WITH VIDEO

" The odd part is it sit on a hill for 30 minutes without rolling but all of a sudden it started rolling. " That is exactly what my L47 does. I've taken to facing the tractor downhill and rotating the bucket downward with pressure, making it an anchor. I don't trust the parking brake on my...

That only happens with constipated hydraulic ducks.

Return to sump location on L47 for lane Shark

I must admit that I am at least partially responsible for not finding the return line. I'm about midway thru whatever case of chest snot that is plaguing the area. When I try to lay on a creeper to check which lines go where, I start to chuck a lung and the the wife starts to scream. I knew...

Return to sump location on L47 for lane Shark

Yes, that is exactly what I was planning to do. I just had difficulty finding the return to sump line or access port. Even Messicks was vague (by phone call) as to the location.
