I’ve installed aluminum window screen on top of the factory screen. Have to pull it out and clean it more often but the debris doesn’t get into the radiator. You’re not doing it any favors by not having at least the factory screen in place.

Mine doesn’t have a fitting on the jack and it was also difficult to move when I got it. I just sprayed the threads with Kroil and lifted it up a few times. I spray it every time I grease everything else or when I change blades.

No not completely. Just drain just below the sight glass. Or if you’re comfortable have a drain pan ready and remove the old sight glass and install the new one.

I would say it’s the starter or the starter relay. Works when cold but doesn’t when hot/heat soaked. Try to find a place local to you and have the starter rebuilt. Way cheaper than buying a new OEM one.

I’ll add to the starting situation. You have the parking brake switch, left and right control lever switch and the seat switch.

What width are you looking for? I believe they are called semi mount, any that design would cost more than a standard 3pt one. Most are semi mount due to the weight and being able to manipulate them around differently than a pull type.

As said above make sure there isn’t debris in the radiator fins. Also check the fan belt tension, it can’t cool off if it can’t move air across the radiator.

Every time I’ve ran a PTO spreader I’ve ran it lower than 540. You didn’t mention if your tractor is a gear drive or HST. Gear drive just pick the best gear for travel speed that shows good results from the spreader. HST I’d keep it at least 1500 rpm or higher just to help with hydraulic flow...
