Blew a power steering hose today while mowing. Removed both hoses and will try to get a couple made tomorrow and reassemble. My question.... when I get it all back together do I have to bleed the steering system or will it self bleed to get air out. If I have to bleed it how do you go about...

OK, so hyd. lifting speed is RPM dependent...........that's my problem!. I mow @2000 rpm. Tend to baby my stuff, thus the low rpm use. Has plenty of power at that speed, but I'll bump it up a tad next time I mow and I'm sure I see a noticeable difference. Thanks, guys............Jerry

Well, I went and did it..... Bought a new Tier 3- M5140 with FEL and hydraulic shuttle from a dealer in KY. Has ag tires now, but I'm having it changed over to R4's before I take delivery. Should be picking this up in mid to late January. Will be saying goodbye to my old 1966 IH 2404! Thanks...
