You definitely think about when moving these loads, and this is on ice roads. Sad to say we did have a fatality last week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sawmilling

This brings back a lot of memories for me. I used to have a little band mill which I helped to design. That was about 30 years ago. Not a commercial operation but a lot of fun. Still a little involved in logging, hauling overloaded trucks off highway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Daily Chuckle

I have 6 daughters and they all had to learn to drive with a 4 speed standard in the hay field. After they mastered that they could move on to whatever they wanted. Two of them ended up buying their own first car with standard transmissions. I also concentrated on driving habits which tend to...

    Been married 48 years.

Will be 42 in July for us. I’m impressed with this group, must be way above modern day average. Like one old man said “Back then we didn’t know there was a way out”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Husky

My Husky got run over by a logging truck, last dog I ever had. And chainsaws, up north here the Husqvarna always ruled in logging but since mechanical logging has taken over chainsaws aren't used enough to create an opinion. Still have a little Husky saw that I used to trim my log loads though...

    Gas Prices

I am painfully aware of that fact, we ship our fuel all over and in lots of instances it's cheaper at the other end than here. It's not about the product, but about the taxes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Getting old(er) and the fun of it all!

Getting old definitely not for the feeble. Had my experience four years ago, was only 55. Had to fly me to the city and stick a little culvert in my heart to open the blockage. Life is never quite the same after. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
