Good, then it's perfect when it's not on. Also, back to the leaking question, it's fuel. I think it's coming from the fuel pump or the line just after it. I'm gonna check out the line and probably just replace it before I replace the pump(cheaper).:)

Do I check the fluid while it's running (like auto) or do I check it when it's off? It's strange to me how no one in my area has any idea !?!

Is there a way to buy new seals for this old fuel pump or do I have to buy a new one all together? I'm 99% sure it's leaking from here, but could just be the age getting to it. I'm going to pull it off and see whats what.

got it, definitely diesel fuel. I think it's coming from the fuel pump. I've heard that the seals go out after a while.

My tractor (G5200) is leaking but I have no idea what it is. It might be diesel fuel, but I also thought maybe transmission fluid. What color is transmission fluid supposed to be? This thing is old and all I know is it's leaking from the back driver side. Any advice would be appreciated.

No smoke, just wants to die when I engage the mower deck. Runs great otherwise.

When I mow the lawn with my tractor, it wants to stall out when I engage the pto. After it runs(barely)for a while it seems to pick up steam. What can I do? I always grease every fitting after a couple of mows. Any advice?

Yeah, couldn't believe how well it started up. I have to admit I held the key counter-clockwise for a little longer this time praying that things would be better. I'm going to look into channging the glowplugs next. Thanks for all the help!
