Looking For a 3 Point Hitch Attachment With a Trailering Ball

Just saw this, I have 2” hitch receptacles on a few 3 point pieces. I haul my saws around when I’m grappling up branches and brush. Good for planting tools too, then I can go move trailers around, or piggyback an attachment to it.

    3 point quick hitch

I’ve been using my $80. HF special for about 8 years. Like most, I added about 1 1/2” length to the top hook. I have set up multiple friends up with the same set up.

    Hydraulic Lines damaged often

Looks like it would be easy to bolt on ( so you don’t have to weld) some angle iron to the bolted on brackets that are there now. And sandwich piece if expanded metal or … to let the debris come out. If you have the ability to weld up a piece, you can make a cover to bolt on.

    BX Temp sensor recall

I’ll talk to him next week. I know he ( service mgr) saw my name on the list and scheduled me.

    BX Temp sensor recall

I was out of town yesterday, but got a call from our local Kubota Dealership, about a recall on my 2014 BX25D. We personally know the Service Manager, so I know it’s no type of scam. He had a Mobil service tech out doing the part swap ( take out the old, install the new sensor) and my wife was...

    More tow hitch accessories

With keeping snow removal equipment on the tractor, either the front snow blower or hydro blade, I don’t have a bucket to easily load firewood on the porch. So using a cheap rear bumper hitch hauler, and cutting up an old class 3 hitch receptacle, I made up a dual height loader assy hitch that...

How many hours on a typical Kubota diesel before rebuild or replace

Looking at the thread on how many hours people have on their tractors. I know I over maintain my BX, oil changes every 100 hours, fuel and air filters too often. But, is there a number that is a good time to do major work to them? Ie: rings, glow plugs at 3K hours etc.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Got to try out the LED light bar, pushing wet sloppy snow off the drive, so it won’t freeze into a rough road. Looking forward to the colder weather, so it’s just real snow that the blower can deal with, instead of this slurpee melt on the ground

No snow blower usage yet, happy new year

Got about 6” over the weekend, mostly wet, slushy and messy. Mostly cleaned up, but I’ll get my 2 blade set up out and scrape it all off smooth. We’re supposed to get a little snow and rain before it dramatically drops in temperature, and freezes what’s left in place.

No snow blower usage yet, happy new year

No snow blower usage yet, and nothing in the forecast for the next week. This is the latest with no real snow and below freezing temps here in N Idaho that I can remember.

    Older BX2750D snow blower

Rusty that’s exactly what I do as well. I have spray chain lube that I can spray thru the inspection hole before and after use every time, plus I use an acid brush and brush on red sticky while adjusting chain tension, with the cover off

    Moving heavy wet snow

There’s 1400’ of gravel down my driveway to the road. Normally I would have the snow blower on the front hydro shoe. I knew with the back and forth of snow and rain, the a few hours of wet little ice balls, it would not blow very easily with the snow blower. Once it jams up with ice, it blows...

    Battery replacement, with no issues…yet.

It was dated 3/2014, so almost ten years of use. New Interstate is dated 11/2023, so I should be good thru 2031. Heck, I may not be around by then.

    Battery replacement, with no issues…yet.

I’ve never had to use a maintainer on the tractor, as its usage and constant movement keeps it going. On very cold days, (under 15 or so) I’ll plug in the block heater for a little before I fire it up. I don’t want to wait till there’s snow on the ground, and I need it. 9-10 years is good...

    Battery replacement, with no issues…yet.

I have a 2014 BX25D, and although I have never had issue with starting or charging, I’m going to pick up a new fresh battery for it. I think I’ve gotten max life out of it, after almost 10 years, so off to get a new one today, BEFORE it is an issue. I do use my tractor every month, and...

    Moving heavy wet snow

This snow dump was warm and wet. Absolutely no way to use the blower. It’s almost all gone now (still raining) and in the 40’s. I’ll get a pic of the 2 blade set up as soon as it’s light. This is the first year I have had to start with 2 blades, it’s usually march warming that is like this.

    Moving heavy wet snow

We just got about 20” of heavy wet snow, and it was just about raining slush, with high 30’s temps expected. This is terrible conditions for using the snow blower. It would definitely clog and blow shear pins regularly. Using my little BX25D, with a front hydraulic blade and a rear QD blade at...

Can You Mount BX Tires On A Regular Tire Machine?

I have used the cheap HF tire machine that I got for changing out quad tires, to replace front tires on my BX. I mounted mine to a heavy oak pallet. I’ve also used it to brake the bead on the rears, to replace valve stems, and refill the ballast. Just like anything from HF, keep your...
