    Draw Bar Trailer Hitch

Tractors come without drawbars? That's odd to me, it's sort of in the definition of 'tractor'... :p Note my L3200's drawbar just below the PTO drive and lower than the axle housing for maximum pull with minimum effect to tractor stability. I probably wouldn't pull much with my 3...

    Using sea foam in a D750 engine.b7100d

I have used SeaFoam on gas and Cummins diesel engines. Put it in the oil about 1000 miles before, (or about 20-30 hrs) before your next oil change. Then change it, don't run it on the SeaFoam all the time. It thins the oil. Run it in the diesel too, it cleans the injectors. Ran this on a...

    Replacement Engine

I don't know if the motor is a sleeved engine or not. If it is, you might find a worn out motor, strip it down to the block, swap in your sleeves, pistons, crank, etc. You're still on original everything but a 'new' block.

    SVL-90 w/hi-flow Problems

If there are 3 people on this thread with nearly identical problems, it's probably an engineering issue that Kubota itself must address. A nice dealer would do this for you, and several of them with the same issues would rap on the Kubota reps door for you and get this dealt with. A bad...

    OTT Gallery

I ran a vBulletin site and it also had a gallery. Looks like it's been replaced with Pictures and Albums, but it isn't showing a full list of albums, just recent ones. That's probably a board setting the mods are going to have to hunt down.

    Shooting with the family

This is very close to what my .357 carbine looks like. I have a 3-9x Bushnell scope on it and 100 yards is nothing for it. Keeping in context of the thread, I haven't fired a round from any of my firearms in almost 6 years.. I doubt I could hit a barn at 40 yards I'm so rusty. The guns are...

Had to think hard before posting this...

The Bureau of Land Management is an agency of the Department of the Interior, an Executive department under the direct control of the POTUS. It can be done away with by Executive Order. Its behavior is entirely controlled by the POTUS, not internal bureaucrats. Spread of BLM power and...

Splitting the L3130 - Repair thread

I'm not sure what kind of clutch that unit has on it. Once you get all the attachments off of it (loader, 3pt stuff) it should go pretty easy. There are plenty of threads here on OTT that show the tractors being split. You should be able to order a kit that has all the replacement parts...

Tier 4 Rant - Not Kubota

That being the case, I stand corrected. Just goes to show that my low opinion of Bush was equally justified. Nobody is talking about the Elephant in the room though. Those cooked EPA standards give off far more foul air than anything the worst diesel engine puts out... those statistics stink...

Tier 4 Rant - Not Kubota

Those standards appear to be what created Tier 2 emissions controls, mostly removing the sulfur from diesel. Tier 4 started shortly after 2009 and was fully in place by 2014 in agriculture. I don't think Bush was directly responsible for Tier 4 but some of his appointees may still have been on...

Tier 4 Rant - Not Kubota

There are two kinds of departments, Executive Departments and Independent Agencies. Executive Departments are under direct control of POTUS and unless established by the Constitution or Law, can be done away with at the POTUS' pleasure. Their Heads can be removed at any time by the POTUS...

Tier 4 Rant - Not Kubota

Well, the solution is to vote the people that put these laws in effect out of office. Short of that, sell the 2012 and buy one from pre-2008. I'm going to buy my brothers 1998 12V diesel when he decides to 'upgrade'. I'll take the mechanical injected, simple diesel any day of the week.

    Eric McCarthy?

It's possible someone linked a post here with a larger more frequented board. The clicks will generate spikes in the 'guests'.

    Coleman lantern question

The white gas ones should only run on white gas. Kerosene is a LOT cleaner than diesel and only in an emergency should you run it on diesel, not only for safety but for longevity of the lamp. Now, with that said, you can use several forms of jet fuel but they cost as much if not more than the...

Slow Down the Boom Swing a BX25D BH

I agree with the others that suggest practice in learning the rig, but adding a restrictor valve is a solution as well. Part of becoming an operator is learning the 'feel' of your rig. Yes, that moments inattention can cause problems, but that's also why you need to be on your A game when...

What would you replace? Trans Gears

It's not all that obvious. It's in the manual, but if you drive a synchromesh car or truck, you think the tractor is the same right? I thought the same thing and tried to shift (at that time my fathers) the D-17 like a car. Ground it like crazy trying. My Dad got on my case and told me to...

    Daily Chuckle

It was notified in the sticky where it went... at least I recall reading that. It's nothing new, happens on boards all the time. I was just putting the suggestion out there if someone really wanted to continue the thread.

Might not be a bad idea to fabricate up a guard for those lines so you don't have to do it again! ;)
