    Gear heads

This is adjusting pinion angle.. Must do on lifted jeeps when you install a double cardan driveline. Pinion under load must be in line with the driveshaft. Double cardan magically cancels out rotational harmonics that otherwise make for a very bad drive. There's a real art to setting these up...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Skeets, so far I've just run it and checked frequency and voltage. Not put a load on it yet. Holds 125/246 volts at 59.6-60.4 hz. My EE son says that'll do just fine. Figure I can get 9-10 kW out of the B2320. Unit will produce up to 15kw with 25 pto hp. I'll try and remember to do some pics...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Replaced the seat belt. Bota dealer wanted $137 plus tax. Scored a retractable automotive lap belt from Summit for $47. It was direct bolt on and it's orange!

    Veterans--Sound off!

Yessir! Inchon was Sep 1950. Was quite a bit before my time. Shoulda remembered the date since we studied it in Air War College. The LSTs were amazing vessels and I'm sure you have plenty of stories to tell. You Korean vets should have gotten a lot more credit for that one. Let me right the...

    Stuck Filter Solution

I bought a set of the biggest channel lock pliers I'd ever seen for suspension work on my jeep. Have yet to meet the stuck filter that these pliers won't handle. www.channellock.com Look for the "480 Big AZZ" pliers under tongue and groove pliers. They also make a pretty slick dedicated...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Swapped in a new radiator and gage cluster on the B2320. Rad was nasty and had a pinhole leak. Hour meter had stopped on the tach unit. Will change oil and hydraulic fluid later this week.

    Piranha Toothbar

No. I did some back dragging this morning spreading a gravel pile. You get a ridged corderouy effect. On the other hand it only takes 3 minutes to unbolt and remove the tooth bar if you need smooth.

Can You Guess What I Did This Morning?

Well I can sympathize. I spread some gravel for a neighbor this morning but I've spent the rest of the day shoveling sunshine here in the beautiful Arizona high country.

    Hodge Stabilizers on L3800

First thing I added to the tractor after purchase was a set of Mark Hodge's stabilizers. Top notch and beefy product. You can push the box blade backwards with nary a problem or binding. I bought a quick hitch but it's so easy to switch attachments with these stabilizers I may return the QH or...
