L 3800 Hydraulics not working Tractor not moving

Turns out that water had gotten into the hydraulics. Not sure how it happened. I was working up to the axles in mud during the floor, but the event is much higher than that. I sent it in for service and they flushed out the Hydraulics and refilled.

L 3800 Hydraulics not working Tractor not moving

Power steering is sticking too or going dead. Clutch is moving good. That does not seem to be an issue. Lots of whining when I managed to move Or no noise at all when I press the pedal and it does not move. What do you think about anti-gel in the hydraulic ?

L 3800 Hydraulics not working Tractor not moving

L3800. Engine working fine. It's I have minimal movement from the hydraulic front loader and 3point . The tractor was sluggishly moving backwards and forward . Now it stopped moving. I have a hydrostatic transmission. I tried adding Hydraulic fluid . Backwards and forward movement seems like...

How to cultivate weeds out with L 3800?

I had come to the same conclusion but wanted to see what other people think. I'm thinking the first used the Middle Buster to loosen the dirt, then use the landscape rake to flatten the rows made by the plow, then use the cultivator itself to plow shallow Rows. I could then run the cultivator...

Why is there a clutch lock on the L 3800?

Very interesting about locking the clutch open if storing the tractor for a long period of time. Thanks for the feedback.

How to cultivate weeds out with L 3800?

I have been using my L 3800 to plow a garden for the last two summers. I use a single bottom Middle Buster to plow rows which works well and brings up any rocks or roots. I will then use the landscape rake to pull out any rock and roots. I will use the Middle Buster to plow the clean row again...

Why is there a clutch lock on the L 3800?

My L 3800 gives me the ability to lock the clutch down. Under what circumstances would I want to do something like that? I have been using this tractor for 3 years and can not think of any. I was just wondering why the manufacturer put a clutch lock there.

Another R-4 and R-1 tear up grass lawn.

Just make sure the grass is dry. In the Summer with the sun beating down it should be dry in a few hours after rain. In the spring or fall it could take a few days. I will mow with an L 3800 with R4 tires. I normally now in 2 wheel drive. If the grass is wet I'll switch into 4 wheel drive...

    Where to get 27 x 8.5-15 NHS ? Front tire for L3800

I need a front tire for my L3800. I had to run it flat to get out of a mess I was in. The dealer only sells it with a rim, which I already ordered. Now I have a spare rim that I want to get a tire for so I have a full spare. Size 27 x 8.5-15 NHS. I believe it is an R4. Thanks.

Problem reattaching quick release hoses to 3800 front loader

I think I did what you mean. I pushed down on the nipple of each male plug of the controller. I did notice that the fluid was coming out kind of foamy. Doing so did not make the connection any easier.

Problem reattaching quick release hoses to 3800 front loader

I took the front loader off my 3800 to do some plowing and when I tried reattach it after, I had a hard time getting the hoses to go in. I never had a problem to this extent before. The connectors are clean. I find it odd that all 4 hoses gave me the same problem fitting into position. It seems...

Counter Weight bar Welded to Rake

I find that I lot of times I am doing FEL work and Rake work within a close time frame. The issue that I had it that it was taking too long to remove my normal counter weight and fit the rake... then go back and forth. I came up with a solution where I welded a shaft to the rake and now I can...

    L3800 Tie Down Points

The L3800 even with the backhoe, FEL and trailer weighs less then 10,000 lbs. The requirements are different for heavier equipment. My Kabota dealer uses the same set up when delivering. Only difference is that he is using a flatbed truck instead of a trailer. The set up I have in the picture...

    L3800 Tie Down Points

Here are some pics of how I tie down the L3800 with the mower on the back and FEL on the front. You would do something similar with the BH on the back. Just lower the boom to the deck run the chain over the top of the boom. Make sure you pass the chain under the pistons on the FEL. If you run...
