    PTO drive for a Miller Bobcat welder?

    There should be a mark on the tachometer which reads 540 PTO or something similar. Run the engine there and do the math mechanically to increase the speed up to 3600 rpm. Gearbox, different size pulleys are two common methods to change speeds.

    Stanadyne in the silver bottle. 50ml per 6 gallons of fuel. I add the product to the empty can and the turbulence of the fill mixes it for me. Add fuel to tractor as necessary. No worries.

    Typically, manufacturers don't install parts like that unless they are necessary. Check McMaster Carr or Amazon. I would normally suggest your local power transmission supply house, but they don't stock parts anymore. "We show 25 in our Indianapolis warehouse, we can have it by next Thursday. "

    Additionally, the quick blackening of the oil is the detergent package grabbing the soot particles and keeping them in suspension so the filter can trap them. Indicates your using decent oil.

    Somehow it seems that I'm the one who has to initiate any correspondence or meet-ups. Maybe I'm just a lousy friend and nobody wants to get together, but the phone lines run both ways. My wife is my very best friend and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.
